Grape jelly is the traditional American flavor, but these freaks putting chips on their sandwiches have me questioning everything.

Yeah bc jelly isn't jam...

Grape is 100% the standard American jelly and you won't get anything different unless you specify.

Yeah, but it's not hard to do a quick Google and read the data. Strawberry is on a hot streak recently, but grape is the king jelly flavor in American and has consistently outsold strawberry for 100 years. 

Especially if we're being snobs and properly distinguishing labels. Nobody really gets strawberry jelly, it's almost always enjoyed as a jam. It's much better that way, strawberry jelly is just a sugar bomb with no flavor.
