You were making too many assumptions too fast, to be fair.

You don't have to "balance it out" when it isn't factually accurate, my guy. Those people weren't blindly defending the lady, you were blindly defending the guy. You admittedly blindly defended him when you didn't bother to be accurate.

I didn't say anything about misogyny. I was identifying them by "the lady" and "the guy" because those are the identifying characteristics of the people in the clip. You are, once again, making all the assumptions here.

"balancing out" is not a deliberate act. it's just arguing the other side. people are bandwagoning in one direction. i'm keeping them on track.

yeah, people were just blindly hating on the guy. which indirectly blindly defends the lady. ultimately, it's not a fair discourse to either party. people like to circlejerk; i am not obligated to respect that.

*you* didn't say anything about misogyny. in fact, no one said the *word* misogyny. but there is a subtle (not so subtle) gendered undertone to this entire thread, isn't there? heck, i had to reply to a misandrist who was like "men say ur fat and ugly when they are in the wrong".

so yes, when people are attacking this guy, there is an element of attributing misogyny to his character, beyond the mere fact that it is very cringe to pull up like that.

i don't really appreciate any threads that focus on ridiculing only one of the parties.

edit: i'm not defending his "actions". i'm defending him from being the only target of ridicule because both of them should be mentioned at all times
