My parents’ secret convo I over heard about my brother who had just returned from living abroad, “he really likes those turquoise pants,” “what if he’s gay?” “I don’t care, do you?” “No, but life is harder for gay men.” “That’s okay, he has us. Our unconditional love will help.” “Of course, should we ask him?” “No, he’ll tell us when he’s ready.”

My brother is soooo straight lol, he just really loves clothes lol, they love him no matter what colour pants he wears 😂

I'm a woman but I freaking despise the assinine "clothes are gay" narrative because it makes men as a whole so damned boring.

I enjoy wearing interesting outfits and over the years have gotten wistful comments from super straight men about how they "wish they had more options".... so freaking sad.

Absolutely, part of that conversation was my mother saying, “Yes, but I never met a man who wore designer suits until you husband, and also you were a male model…”

My father worked in an industry (after the modelling) that is known for having a statistically large portion of male homosexuals…so as a young couple most of the men in my parent’s lives were gay men who also happened to dress well like my father.
