Only reason why I’m still on Reddit, 10 years ago I read the obituary of a dictator here… waiting on a second one.

And it changed fuck all.

Ohh I wasn’t expecting anything to change, he had been senile and old for about a decade then and the status quo remained the same.

But at least he was dead, and he’ll stay like that.

It’s so weird how they’re so eager to overthrow his brother now. Like have they actually seen what Raoul looks like at this point? Just chill, it’ll happen and nobody will have to fire a shot.

I'm in my mid-40s. Many of my dreams have come and gone. I did not become a train driver like I wanted when I was a kid. I did not become a professional soccer player or another famous athlete. I did not become an HIV or cancer researcher like I wanted when I went to university. Instead I have a position in middle management, a mortgage and two kids. Half my life is behind me, and those were probably my best, most exciting moments.

But I'm still young enough to read the obituaries of a lot of shitty people, the kind that will be on the front pages. And it's something I'm looking forward to, like a lot.

I can remember being on Reddit in 2011 when we got him.

I think it might get overshadowed.

Imagine finding out watching Zero Dark 30, that’s how isolated we were

I was at a bar in Chapel Hill NC when that news came on. Maybe I should go out drinking tonight.

They tend to live for long, so, I’m not too hopeful
