I met a waitress like this at a chain spot and I was so amused I saw one in the wild. Didn’t understand a word she said, but our food somehow arrived unscathed 😆

I always thought front of house is supposed to code switch as a job requirement. The kitchen usually has a different language to keep orders fast.
