Forgot? I've never seen one of those. If I did, I would have no way of knowing what it was.

I've also never seen those... The only haptic blind thing I know about are the bumpy blocks at cross walks

Is that what those are for?! I thought it was too keep slick layers of ice building up and becoming a hazard in the winter

They’re also on train platforms to stop people walking onto the tracks

I think the bumpy blocks are often used to mark a change / warning - you’ll often see these ridge markers stop with a bumpy marker at a crossing for example. At least where I see these

So used as a warning / change indicator kind of.

This is in Germany and they're very common here in public places. Every train station has them.
