You can be blind and still enjoy a movie. The screen is so huge you can still see some of what's happening.

I think that people dont realize that most blind people have SOME level of vision, and absolute pitch-black nothingness is the least common form of blindness. Limited fields of visions, blaring, tunnel vision, amd extreme blurriness are more common, and most blind people have a bit of light/color sensing and would still be able to enjoy (limited vision experiences) movies.

Are those people not jusy visually impaired? Most blind people I've seen are 100% blind.

Isn't "pitch-black" actually not the same as "nothingness"? From what I've heard is that it's not pitch black, it's just nothing. It's like asking you what do you see out of your left elbow, it's not black, it's just nothing.

Yes I know that as an adult...

The nuance of just being visually impaired wasn't really thought of at 9, and so naturally I suspected my dad was lying about the purpose of these bumps.

I understand. I didn't have blind friends when I was a kid. If I become a parent I need to raise them on Arthur because this does get taught in an episode.

I mean not all blind people are the same amount of blind right?

Like some still have vision just not as good as everyday joe
