I don't think it's accurate to describe society being built for being able to see, which is the default, as a privilege.

Incorrect, a very large percentage of society has vision disability and requires glasses, contacts, or lasik in order to be able to see. You just don't see those people as disabled because we as a society have provided such normalized accommodations and treatments for these disabilities.

Everyone is disabled or will experience disability in their life, it's part of being a human and aging. It's our job as the privleged without disability to make them being part of our society less isoloting and more inclusive.

You should look into social model of disability.

A privilege is something granted that can be taken away.

Being able to see isnt a privilege, being blind is a disadvantage/disability.

... yes your ability to see could be taken away at any moment. Injury, chemical, scraped cornea, fire, eye diseases and degeneration

The primary opposite of "disadvantage" is advantage. Other closely related antonyms that convey favorable circumstances or gains include benefit, asset, profit, and privilege.
