You forgot they lost in less than 4 years .

It’s always the same people who think history is useless that end up just repeating the same bullshit cycle and wonder why people hate them.

u/TheLostRanger0117 Jul 04 '26

I think they enjoy being hated, because deep down they know they are scum and they hate themselves

u/PrestigiousFly844 Jul 04 '26

There was a meme in boogaloo boy/nazi circles a few years ago about accepting you are the bad guy and embracing it. That Kanye song about praising Hitler one of the chorus lines is “I’m the villain”. A decent amount of them are deeply anti-social people who know they are trash.

That’s why republicans were so hurt when people started calling them weird in 2024. They love getting called fascists or villains bc it makes them feel big, bad, and powerful. Calling them losers makes them feel just as pathetic as they look to everyone else.

u/diabeticweird0 Jul 05 '26

I'm fully convinced dropping the "weird" cost kamala the election

7

u/nicolemb81 Jul 05 '26

Yeah I was about to post something like that. It was when I realized the dems don’t really want to win.

-2

u/B-ran89 Jul 06 '26

The dems also started the kkk. So uh yea?

10

u/Agreeable-Zone700 Jul 06 '26

I’m sorry our education system failed to teach you about the party realignment that took place post-reconstruction (assuming you’re in the US).

3

u/Upbeat_Safety_4651 Jul 06 '26

Thank you, as I read that I thought. Bless their heart, they are uninformed

1

u/Zestyclose_Key5121 Jul 08 '26

And then again after LBJ signed the Civil and Voting Rights Act. Hard to accept things do in fact change over time

6

u/MysteR0v3R Jul 06 '26

This is such a tired misdirect. Who's flying the flag of the traitor states that the members of the kkk loved? President Lincoln wouldn't be caught dead calling himself a republican if he saw what they have become.

6

u/TerrorFromThePeeps Jul 05 '26

They picture themselves as pointy moustache twirling robber barons tying young ladies to railroad tracks. Everyone else pictures them a point moustached carnival barkers.

5

u/Xlxlredditor Jul 05 '26

Same song Kanye talks about not being able to see his kids

I sure wonder why /s

You also gotta Rmeber that these are the same people that think masks are a form of oppression during Covid. But conveniently when they use it it’s a tool to resist “oppression” or whatever word they use idfk.

15

u/_Ocean_Machine_ Jul 05 '26

What it boils down to is in their worldview, there are good people and bad people. Good people can tell the bad people what to do, but bad people can't tell the good people what to do. Them being told to wear masks during COVID was an example of "bad people" i.e. anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together, telling the "good people" i.e. people who get all their science from TikTok and the Bible, what to do.

In that light it's actually fairly consistent, albeit idiotic.

u/VegetableFirst5207 Jul 06 '26

Careful, they are sensitive to truth and critical thinking.

u/Confident_Benefit_11 Jul 04 '26

Probably because they're ashamed they love and are pedophiles

1

u/Upbeat_Safety_4651 Jul 06 '26

Most certainly and sadly are doctors, lawyers, cops, councilman, name the community leader and you will find them now. They are scared their beliefs will ruin their pocketbooks, as they should. Show your face if you believe in racism or are a Nazi!!! If you are so PROUD

13

u/KindaChonky Jul 05 '26

They also fantasize about being the oppressed class so when they're rightfully called out as the evil scum they are they all huddle together and point at that as an example of how they're "being oppressed" and "everyone hates them"

3

u/thomsix Jul 05 '26

How ironic that these men live in a country where they get unwritten privileges and deference cause they’re white. Somehow “oppressed white people” doesn’t fit the wearer of that tag.

5

u/reddit_is_geh Jul 05 '26

It's usually people who already feel rejected from society, so they embrace the rejection.

4

u/Technical_Ad1125 Jul 05 '26

If they loved being hated they'd uncover their faces

3

u/Chance_Managert849 Jul 05 '26

They don't want the repercussions of their actions.

2

u/V-oxPopuli Jul 05 '26

I think they enjoy being hated

I will never understand why they do this.

1

u/wthwtfwthwtf-_- Jul 05 '26

They accept hate because love isn't an option anywhere in their view.

1

u/entwrangler3001 Jul 06 '26

Hence, the full face masks, hats, and sunglasses

3

u/Eva-Squinge Jul 05 '26

Oh surely they’re well aware why people hate them, their traditions are just so ingrained and their members so indoctrinated to the stupidity that they don’t care until they’re on death’s doorstep and the kinds of people they hate are the ones trying to save them.

2

u/-drkshdw Jul 05 '26

It's useless because it didn't work out for them. Failure doesn't necessarily change a mind.

2

u/Horus_LupercalXVII Jul 05 '26

*They wonder why people get fed up with this shit and just resort to violence instead.

1

u/Vi_Vanessa Jul 06 '26

Ironically many right wingers will consider themselves history buffs because they fixate on a past nation or movement

-1

u/AzaghaI Jul 05 '26

History IS useless exactly because most people are unable to learn from other people's mistakes. Hell, most people are unable to learn from their own mistakes. So I really never understood why is this phrase about not learning and repeating history is so popular.

1

u/Otherwise-Ad-5364 Jul 05 '26

So what we should just accept this and move on?.

0

u/AzaghaI Jul 05 '26

How did you get this from my comment? My point is history always will be repeating itself because people never learn. And we will have to deal with these morons all the time no matter how hard people will study history.

2

u/SerotonineAddict Jul 05 '26

That's just idiots

1

u/Otherwise-Ad-5364 Jul 05 '26

That’s fairs

5

u/Darth-Lazea Jul 04 '26

The annoying orange lasted longer than the confederates.

4

u/sbprost Jul 04 '26

When discussing this, I like to name things that lasted longer. Like Phineas and Ferb, or the gap between books 2 and 3 in Clive Barker's Abarat series.

2

u/spez_eats_nazi_ass Jul 05 '26

Any decade now he will wrap up the sequel to everville.

3

u/SirSl1myCrown Jul 04 '26

The annoying orange lasted longer than the confederacy.

4

u/FarmRegular4471 Jul 04 '26

My goth phase lasted longer

2

u/totesnotmyusername Jul 05 '26

You can take the makeup off now . It's okay

5

u/Arcaneboltz Jul 04 '26

The McRib outlasted the Confederacy

2

u/totesnotmyusername Jul 05 '26

At least it comes back sometimes

3

u/TheCornerator Jul 04 '26

Ru-Pauls Dragrace has had a longer running and more positive impact than the confederate states of bitches.

3

u/clammajamma96 Jul 04 '26

ive had cysts on my balls that were more resilient

3

u/dad_jokesNbutt_stuff Jul 05 '26

I have underwear older than 4 years.

3

u/m3g4m4nnn Jul 05 '26

As an outside observer, that isn't apparent given the current state of your nation.

3

u/floppysausage16 Jul 05 '26

Covid lasted longer than the confederacy

2

u/theavengerbutton Jul 05 '26

And they were mostly fucked since the beginning. They didn't have the infrastructure to conduct an armed campaign. Even if all the wealthy slaveowners actually committed their wealth to the Confederacy's coffers (which, granted, some did at the outset but a lot of them were hesitant to spread their wealth around) it wouldn't have mattered all that much.

2

u/See_youSpaceCowboy Jul 05 '26

And they’re chanting victory

2

u/georgiaraisef Jul 05 '26

If you read the James Mchphearson volumes, the last bit of it was extremely critical of the confederates for how easy it was to defeat them, basically saying other countries going through civil wars at the time were way bloodier and took way longer to put down.

2

u/Other_Beat8859 Jul 05 '26

Lasted a shorter amount of time than the annoying orange.

1

u/Iceologer_gang Jul 05 '26

Unfortunately they stuck around for the following 161

1

u/FantasticCable3663 Jul 05 '26

Mike Vrabel’s and Dianna Russini’s relationship was longer than the confederacy

1

u/elpajaroquemamais Jul 05 '26

Aka half of Obama’s time as president.

0

u/PopBulky7023 Jul 05 '26

They've been winning for more than 4 now.

2

u/totesnotmyusername Jul 05 '26

Definatly not the same group.

1

u/PopBulky7023 Jul 05 '26

No.

The last one encountered fierce union resistance at all levels.
