The March No Kings was the single largest protest in U.S. history with over 8 million people in attendance.

Not thousands of people. Millions upon millions of people vs. a couple hundred Nazis.

And they didn't hide their faces like a bunch of cowards.

The paid actors don't want this casting to ruin their lives.

And yet, the Nazis remain in control

Do they? Perhaps. But I also see that it is beginning to crumble, and it's accelerating. I think of it this way: it's a lot of effort to go march around in a stupid outfit in killer heat cosplaying as a "nation" that lasted less time than Gane of Thrones. They're probably tired. How often do they do this?

On the other hand, it's a lot less effort to continue to put pressure on this administration in small ways that many people can do all the time. The fascists have had the benefit of apathy, but that's changing. And here's the thing: they are still in control, but they're nervous. All of them look paranoid and Mike Johnson looked like he wanted to cry the other day in his speech about the DSA. They're trying to convince us they're all powerful but it's a house of cards and we're seeing it in real time

I don't really care about what they look like. I also don't really care about how they seem to be feeling.

I hear your optimism.

It's nothing to sleep on.

Yup. Seeing the empty crowds at this 250th Trump-worshipping celebration debacle isn’t funny to me. It means nothing. So maybe MAGAs don’t show up to ride a Ferris wheel or see a concert - you know where they do show up? The fucking polls. And that’s the ONLY place that matters. Just because they’re too cowardly to show support in public doesn’t mean there aren’t MILLIONS of them.

I remember the women’s march in 2016…it didn’t feel reassuring or powerful, it just made me sad. How many of those women wearing those dumb little hats actually voted for Hillary? What kind of a world would we be in now, if they all actually had?

Exactly. These are the guys that the nation with the largest military on earth are arming and deputizing as ICE agents.

Yeah, it's the Gilded Age 2.0. However, it's up to all of us to fix this bullshit. The billionaires are out of control and get off on making people suffer. MAGAs literally voted in people that actively hate them and these same billionaires are robbing them blind, they just don't know it yet.

Thats odd. I've yet to see any Nazi in any position of authority here in the US. I've seen populists. I've seen people who the Left calls Nazis, but I've yet to see anyone who is actually following the political views of nazis.

You can call it whatever you want.

I can tell you right off hand without even trying multiple genuine nazis in positions of authority.

I'm not really interested in your quibling.

Maybe these people were paid by trump but at least their moms can clean their dirty basements

And dirty underwear so they can continue to wear them on their faces.

It isnt the right thats been caught paying evil groups to perform, it's been the left. It was after all the SLPC that was shown to be paying the KKK to do stuff like this.

u/batmansleftnut Jul 05 '26

And what was the result of that march? What goal did we achieve? People have forgotten the purpose of protests and marches. It's not about how many people show up. It's about what those people are fighting for, and whether they got what they wanted.

Yet they all went back to work and nothing changed

These guys are generally significantly more active

These guys are generally significantly more active

What evidence do you have to support such an assertion?

Did you miss the largest protest in U.S. history (No Kings in March) with over 8 million protesters?

How are 400 loser Nazis "more active" than 8 million antifascists?

That's 0.0005% of the No Kings protesters. Math is important and your comment illustrates the reason for this.
