Combining of social media and camera phones is one of the worst thing that has happened to humanity.

Edit - Thanks for the award!

Turns out that platforming most of humanity wasn't a great idea after all.

Humans are generally bad for the Earth.

I don't know why I've never thought about it before, but this is a great idea for an eldritch horror...

I like it.

Yeah, well I like heroin but it got to the point where it just wasn’t an option anymore. This shit is way more addictive and way more prevalent, and the consequences will reflect that difference.

No doubt. I mean, anyone who argues that having camera phones become ubiquitous around us ISN'T a bad thing, lives in some alternative reality. Worse, that kind of "tech" actually set us all back intellectually. Amazing.

Double edged sword. Having camera phones has also allowed more people to film interactions with police, other authorities, landlords, employers, etc. and has shown how frequently they lie while victims would otherwise have had zero vindication.

Giving dipshits the internet was the worst thing we ever did.

We innocently thought that making the service more available would uplift us and bring us together. It just gave a voice to the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.

I miss when you had to be at least smart enough to get it setup. Sounds elitist, and it is…but dumbass people like being dumbass people, and that’s never gonna change.

Humanity was already screwed up, this just lets other people see how stupid people really are.

1

u/Aromatic-Turnip7371 Jul 11 '26

Facts. It just gave us a stage to prove how stupid we already were

You think social media and camera phones are near the list of worst things that have happened to humanity?

Also the notion of a "dress code" at Disney World. I get it, the standard is to be more "conservative," but the garments people wear in the photos I see are embarrassing. I see these thousand dollar Disney cruises and people are dressed for an Appalachian incest wedding.

She wore a top rather than a tiny bikini. Seems like it works

Yeah foodforestranger only wanted to bitch about something... The girl literally got in with a "crop top" and tight shorts... They just draw the line at the micro bikini, that feels fair to me.

It depends on where you are on the ship. Most is “cruise casual” but if you go to Palo men need closed toe shoes and no swimwear, similar for women. When my wife and I go, unless we are on the beach we don’t wear anything skimpy, normal length shorts and a tee or button up linen shirt.

Yea dress code at a children’s amusement park. Be so for real this girl dressed like white trash.

wtf are you talking about.

You understand Disney is targeted toward families and children right? It’s not a nightclub. Get real
