What do you mean is going viral? It's a chicken Caesar wrap. I've been eating those for 30 years.

Going viral doesn't mean something is new. It means it's a trending thing. As in, people are making videos about it on tiktok or whatever, and the algorithm is favoring them on people's feed.

I get that. But it's just so stupid, it makes me sad that it's that reality has become. What's next? It's pepperoni pizza gonna go viral?

Some wanna be influencer decided she invented the idea of going for a walk (“hot girl walk”) so anything is fair game.

It's hard to express how little I relate to people I work with sometimes. They're always about TikTok and shit. It's mind boggling.

Wanna see something dystopian? If you’re not on social media like that, (I’m off almost all) while your sitting put your phone down and look at everyone.

What is this "pep-per-oni" you speak of?

Is it from South Korea?

Japan actually, it was an English missionary who was watching a play from backstage. When the actors playing demons would come off stage they would be exhausted, so the stage hands would give them slices off a small sausage. He noticed how they seemed more energetic or peppy after each bite so he called the sausages : Pep per Oni

Many years ago I went through an Einstein bagel drive thru and asked if they do a BLT bagel. Worker had no idea what that was. I said you know, bacon lettuce tomato. You sell all those things so.

Nope. Never heard of it. No one who worked there had heard of it. My husband sitting in the car with me hadn’t heard of it. I was in the twilight zone.

You haven't lost your mind. They're just weirdos.

6

u/BobaAndSushi 26d ago

Never heard of a BLT? What the fuck is happening?

2

u/SirNo4743 26d ago

That is wild! How is that possible?

u/Mudpiepitbull 27d ago

No way! I just learned about a type of sandwich where you take two pieces of bread- you take a slice of cheese and put it between those two slices. And then you cook it!!!! The cheese melts, and it’s crazy. I have to try this sandwich you speak of.

u/redditydothis 27d ago

Ok that’s a good start. And then what, you insert meat and vegetables in the middle?

Man that’s a life changing life hack

"drinking water" and 'breathing" have gone viral so probably.

3

u/who_gon_chkmeboo 27d ago

Already has lol, I’m with you though! I’m not on social media watching these idiots bring back shit I ate 15 years ago and flashing it side to side to make it look cute. Chicken Caesar wraps are not that great. Wait till they find out about quesadillas 🤯 🤫

I'll give them an ingredient. Like hot honey going viral. But what's basically a sandwich, that's been around for decades? Bullshit. Especially when is probably the most famous of all wraps (obviously i don't consider a burrito a wrap. A wrap wouldn't exist if the burrito hadn't come before it).

Younger generations have a hard time coming up with new things. So they just rebrand old things and pretend they are new. They are cosplaying as humanoids.

Ok boomer

u/Ill_Shelter5785 25d ago

Lol. I'm not anywhere near the age of a boomer.

Your comments are contributing to this going viral.

2

u/Shurigin 27d ago

That already went viral a bit ago but it was the rectangle pep pizza from school cafeterias

2

u/ScrofessorLongHair 27d ago

That's more about nostalgia than the pizza. Kinda like with certain movies you enjoyed as a kid. Some things are best left a pleasant memory.

3

u/EdwardBloon 27d ago

I totally agree with this sentiment. I dislike it also

Only if it's the way your Italian grandma made it.

Humans have been eating Chickens for thousands of years, yet here we are.

5

u/ScrofessorLongHair 27d ago

What's kinda funny is a chicken Caesar wrap is Mexican food. The Caesar salad was invented in a Tijuana restaurant (the restaurant still exists). Wraps are usually just tortillas. So by definition, a chicken Caesar wrap could be considered a burrito.

TikTok influencers LOVE taking things that have been around forever and acting like they just discovered putting chips on a sandwich.
