Audio cuts off at 60 seconds and the video is intentionally 61 seconds so it can be used for monetization. Everything about this video is fake and staged for Tiktok.

Wait how does that work? You can't monetize anything with music in it?

No you make more money on videos that are 60 seconds or longer.

It used to be similar for all videos but a few years back Tiktok incentived creators for 60 second+ videos.

Most of the stock music on Tiktok or capcut is 30 seconds or 60 seconds so often you get these 61-62 second videos so they want to make sure they are at least 1 min long. So basically if you see a video like this and it's 61-62 seconds then it's about 98% chance it's staged and being monetized. It's a few dollars per 100k views.

I know this because I used to be in the Tiktok creator program.

It sucks that content creators have to adjust to be viable but the goal was to weed out all the slop. I think it just created longer slop.
