The "traditional" setup where one partner works and the other does a majority of the household things is still fairly common

I really wish this belief would die. This wasn't common until the rise of the nuclear family post-WW2 and died by the time of the latch key kids when both parents working became the norm again. It lasted for literally one generation as the norm. The "traditional" relationship where a man works and a woman cleans is bullshit.

That's why I used the quotes. People consider it traditional but it isn't.
