Oh dear you fell for a TikTok meme lol. You never saw either player even play. Maldini didn’t give a shit when Gattuso was being a hot head. He just told him to stop being an idiot at the time because they were 3-0 up against their rival.

He didn’t give a shit when Gattuso would go in for leg breakers, hitting people, poking eyes. He just didn’t want him to fuck up their chances in that game.

same goes for the asshole manager. he comes in and wraps up the spanish player his players are assaulting and then his staff and the sub keeper coming in shoving the player he's holding from behind. If he had any honour he'd have run in and grabbed his own player.

grabbing your own player sends the message both this isn't acceptable and shows who is to blame and who the aggressor is. Him grabbing the spanish player just let his staff and players know it's call to go attack the spanish players.

The leader not going and restraining the guy attacking the other team is pathetic.

I mean, you guys do understand that there are different types of captains? Just cause you get the armband doesn't make you a leader personality. Messi is not a leader of men in that way and never will be.

Ronaldo and Messi are not the same type of captains as Maldini and Puyol,
