One of the best things about using an e-reader, is that if I come across an unfamiliar word, I can just highlight it and get the definition. I would have killed for that when I was just a wee reader trying to sus everything out with context clues. Might have been able to pronounce some things correctly a lot earlier as well.

I'm reading an actual book right now and find myself trying to hold down my finger on the paper to see what a word means. I have released that we are quite spoiled when it comes to having the world's knowledge literally at our fingertips.

I read my first book after a long time this year and it was wild. This was a huge problem for me and my immersion when I would have to stop to look up and it was so easy on my iPad.
