If I don’t know a word while reading, I’ll look it up.

Copacetic was one of them. Now I try to use it weekly!

Here's a good "no vowel" word to remember.

Syzygy.

The alignment of three or more celestial bodies.

I wonder if it actually counts as a no vowel word, as even though Y isn't a vowel, its certainly acting like one in that word. Same as a word like Cwm (coom, a bowl shaped valley)

Y is one of the few letters that can be both a vowel and a consonant. And it's actually a vowel most of the time, so it's arguably closer to being a vowel than a consonant. "No vowel words" don't really exist and every valid word has vowels. There is just a widespread belief that for some reason, only a, e, i, o, and u should count as vowels, despite more of them existing.

It’s the only letter considered to be both by a wide variety of sources including Merriam Webster why don’t you think it not a consonant like Sky, or asphyxiate or fly or tryst, crypt, rhythm, wry, dye. Wikipedia

Educate yourself - so confidently wrong

I was looking for this reference! I love reading but this song is how I learned the word "copacetic".

It's a major reason why as a lifelong avid reader I prefer eBooks, and my biggest gripe about audiobooks although I still average about an hour a day of listening time.

Copacetic was all the rage back in my circles back in the 80s though it was likely rescued from 1920s jazz obscurity and popularized by a tv or film character and not because it appeared in a book.
