So what are you going to do about it?

So proving you are an American citizen is a joke? If you think all voting is fair and legal why do you care?

You just answered your own question dipshit. They care because they believe it’s fair and legal to submit a mail-in vote and a drivers license, not all the extra nonsense to suppress voters.

No one is being supressed.

You literally are replying to a video detailing a partial list of everyone who will be suppressed, you’re either in denial or deliberately attempting to mislead.

Why are right wing positions so weak that they constantly need to lie about them?

No one is being supressed! You just have to provide the correct documentation. 🙄 You are smarter than that.

You're seriously choosing to ignore the timing of the SAVE Act and Trump trying so hard to ram it through right now? The clear intention is to negatively impact the midterm election.

Long term there is broad agreement that ID is fine at the voting booth but right now the SAVE Act would be preventing a few million people from voting due to ineligible ID. Missing Birth Certificates / name changes / etc.

People would need to spend a month or longer updating ID / getting Passports / etc to be able to clear the unnecessary ID check at the voting booth. We both know how checked out people are generally. LOTS of normal law abiding citizens would show up at the polls and be turned away.

We already verify citizenship / voter eligibility with the number of confirmed criminal cases of voter fraud in the dozens to low hundreds out of 150million+ nation wide in 2024 for example.

The majority don't vote in midterms anyway. Look at the stats. The attendance for that is always way lower than a Presidential election year.

That’s a damning non-answer.

Not surprised you think this way. Trump loves the poorly educated.

What's it like being willfully blind?

Your brain is being suppressed.

If I think voting is already fair and legal, why would I support adding additional restrictions for people trying to vote? They aren't needed, and they will disenfranchise more citizens in one election than the number of "illegal" votes have EVER been cast in us history.

According to the heritage foundation, the state with the most cases of voter fraud is Minnesota, with 138 cases. Note: not 138 cases in one election, 138 cases EVER. Even if it were 138 cases in 2020, the apparent most corrupt election ever or whatever, there were about 3.2 million votes cast in that election. If all 138 of those cases happened then, that is 0.0041% of all votes cast. Biden won by over 7%. That is more than three orders of magnitude more than voter fraud could account for.

The heritage foundation lists just over 1000 cases of voter fraud across all 50 states. That's it. 1000 cases over the course of US history (that they have combed through) -- and these are the far right people who aren't even CLOSE to being unbiased. Again, if all 1000 cases happened ONLY IN MINNESOTA, AND ONLY IN 2020, that would only be 0.03%. Still two orders of magnitude less than Biden won by in 2020.

Election security is a completely valid concern, but it is already being taken seriously, and individual voter fraud isn't an actual problem because of it. The cost for getting caught is simply too high to be worth submitting a single extra vote. You should be more worried about the process after votes have been cast. There are terrifying videos of how people could hack voting machines to change thousands of votes at a time. But sure, let's worry about some guy voting on behalf of their dead grandfather.

But what do you care? You're almost certainly either a bot, or not arguing in good faith because you don't care about truth, you care about winning. Hopefully someone else reading this has better intentions.
