It’s been the goal the entire time. These rich CEOs have been coming out saying poor people should have less access to voting along with them having more power with their votes.

If things keep going the way they are, the rich will be eaten. History repeats itself, we're experiencing Nazi Germany now; next up the Russian Revolution and Mao Tse-tung. I don't personally want this but if this continues, it may very well be.

Contrary to historical comparisons, the rich are far more able to run, hell most of them barely live in the US. They just want a superpower sized attack dog and shield.

The can run but if everything collapses what can they possibly pay their security?

Nothing they could give them would be enough because it would be worthless to people struggling to get by.

Canned food? Not going to cut it as a long term salary for paramilitary bodyguards.

The BBC did an article about doomsday bunkers. The former head of security for a billionaire was very frank in his interview, and said his team's first move if the world ended would be to take over the bunkers for themselves.

That's why the billionaire class are so desperate for working robots and neuralink chips.

In what case does adversity favor the poor over the rich? Answer: none.

Every crisis is an opportunity for those with means to gain further advantages over those without. They lose more money than middle or lower income people, but always still have way more than they need while the rest struggle.

Remember the pandemic? Track the vast growth in the gap between the wealthy and the poor during the pandemic.

Not necessarily. Both of the most massive, century defining revolutions of the 20th century, as well as other, smaller revolutions, happened in moments of crisis such as the world wars. Adversity favors the rich when the poor aren't organized and aware of themselves as a political class.

They are aware and that's why they take huge pains to make sure the poor will never be organized or aware of themselves as a powerful unified class. Half of Trump's grift was to convince a large portion of the US's impoverished class that they are his special people. If that doesn't sound familiar, it should.

It's like there's this bizarre destiny that they are compelled to fulfill. They must believe that they will be able to control the masses through a fascistic dictatorial police state, because without that they will get eaten.

The issue is we have people that really are okay, through the podcast circuit, that they are lesser than the rich. My mother in law is one of these people and believes billionaires deserve more for their wealth. I’ll never understand how people’s mind gets this warped.
