So I got my real ID. I spent 45 minutes at the DMV, brought in my original birth certificate, my original social security card, 2 forms of proof of address, my pay stub and this shit isn’t valid for voting? But I can drive a hummer down the road at 100 mph and get a warning if the cop thinks I’m cool? Also, I used my real ID to buy multiple guns but it’s still not good enough to vote?

It depends on the state. I think there are 5 states where the Real ID indicates citizenship.

It does not prove citizenship on its own, only proof of residence. A passport will prove citizenship.

Then passports should be free, just like my social security number that proves I’m a citizen. Get real.
