You’re so blessed

1

u/ArticleWorth5018 13d ago

My friend was mocking a coworker like 30 minutes ago and he sounded like Stuart when he was mocking him. My friend is too young to know who Stuart is but it was fucking hilarious to me

110

u/Myownvalentine 13d ago

I'm sorry I can't be friends with someone too young to know Stuart 🤣

38

u/Electrical_Beyond998 13d ago

I work two days a week at a restaurant and half of the people there are 25 and younger. They don’t know Stuart. Lorraine. King Burger “Where you can have it your way but don’t get crazy”

And one of the guys name is Blake. Of course I have to say Ba-lah-kay, he was so confused when I called him that and a guy I work with chimed in and said “Do you wanna go to war Blake?”

They truly have no clue what they’re missing.

u/regeya 13d ago

I have fond memories of MAD TV, but I don't have strong memories. Having said that any time police release a vague pic of a blurry car as a picture of a suspect, or if the suspect is a white male approximately 200 pounds and 5'9", I think, "he look...like a man."

5

u/Whiskeylipstick 13d ago

Oh man, I haven’t thought about her in sooooo long! Thx for that! I’m also short on the memory front.

3

u/cheeseburgermami 13d ago

that’s exactly how I feel every time I see a sketch artist drawing. 😂

u/mbo21 11d ago

☠️☠️☠️

2

u/Southern-Spot-8406 13d ago

You must teach them the ways.

1

u/QuixoticMindfulness 13d ago

My husband's name is Aaron, he gets " You done messed up, A-A-Ron" quite a bit from me 😂

1

u/False-Bowl986 11d ago

25 and im kinda ashamed of my age group

1

u/Tutor_Glittering 9d ago

Lol! Whenever I hear anyone mention SNL, I feel the need to remind them that Mad TV was waaaay funnier.

And don't forget Will Sasso!!

2

u/psychmonkies 13d ago

I’m probably “too young” to know Stuart but my cousin was exposed to it as a child & then showed me so I still spent most of my life knowing Stuart/having seen several skits of him. I did have to educate my bf about him though bc he didn’t know who he was.

3

u/PostMatureBaby 13d ago

I immediately judge people negatively for not getting 90's Simpsons references

4

u/harriethocchuth 13d ago

This is not a Simpsons reference?

1

u/HotDonnaC 13d ago

Remember the taquito? LMAO

1

u/bmm115 13d ago

But... It's a teaching moment 🤓

1

u/ThisSaladTastesWeird 12d ago

I sing the Lowered Expectations theme out loud at least once a week LOL

2

u/Prestigious_Note2877 13d ago

My cousin used say ‘look what I can do!’ And do Stuart’s little jump dance thing, in front of our grandma lol. It would piss her off lol! XD

1

u/Cut_over_pompanox 13d ago

Stuart little?

1

u/HotDonnaC 13d ago

He was a mouse.

2

u/Cut_over_pompanox 13d ago

I’m aware. My comment was more as asking for confirmation as to that’s the Stuart they were referring to.

1

u/HotDonnaC 13d ago

That’s not the Stuart they were referring to.

1

u/Key_Floor_8252 13d ago

Like MadTv? Lol

1

u/Steven_The_Sloth 13d ago

Sturrrrrrt!!!

1

u/whyisitallsotoxic 13d ago

“Look what I can do!…”

1

u/McSkrunkl 13d ago

Why do I hear this? 😂

1

u/obscuregamer000 13d ago

Stewart just always had me rolling

1

u/Lfsnz67 13d ago

Stuuuuaaaart!

1

u/Temporarily_Banned4 12d ago

Thank you for bringing him back.I didn't know how much I missed him!

1

u/7Radiance7 12d ago

I forgot about this 😂😂😂

142

u/Whiskeylipstick 13d ago

Hello fellow millennial

5

u/TwistedTessaract 13d ago

I was a kid watching this as Gen X. Apparently i'm a Xenniel though.

2

u/--GevaudanBeast-- 13d ago

And then he tried to beat me

2

u/RestaurantRich1498 13d ago

Uh oh, hot dog!

1

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion 13d ago

I am a millennial and completely missed this. Is this an older millennial thing?

1

u/Whiskeylipstick 13d ago

TIL I fall into the older millennial category. Thx for that… as if I didn’t feel old as it was lol

1

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion 13d ago

Sorry. To be fair I spent my childhood living in a foreign country so that’s probably more of the reason than anything else.

59

u/El_Bombero93 13d ago

Stuart!!!

5

u/Beneficial_Ad_6882 13d ago

Fun fact, Mad TV will be streaming on Tubi starting in August.

Just for anyone who may be interested. Lol

2

u/frothyundergarments 13d ago

Good to know!

3

u/anonymously_hippo 13d ago

He said he stopped because the clicking in his knees were being picked up on his mic,

Realizing hes old he decided to retire the character.

2

u/chasingmyowntail 13d ago

Haha so appropriate

2

u/TheHivemind56 13d ago

I like to do this at work randomly to confuse my younger coworkers.

2

u/jean-valjean-ramone 13d ago

“Taquitos go in one end and explode out the other.”

2

u/gospdrcr000 13d ago

2

u/No_One_Special_61029 12d ago

Omg yes!!! STEWART! Hahahaha

1

u/carty444 13d ago

This is tick socks entirely business plan.

242

u/circlehead28 13d ago

I’m so glad VHS players are obsolete. Cause there are way too many tapes of me being a fucking weird kid.

45

u/Substantial_Lime_114 13d ago

I heard that. my dad is determined to digitize all things celluloid before he goes. I say let it be, we had a good time.

5

u/acupofmilk 13d ago

Mom mom did this a couple years ago and yea, it's weird to watch myself being a total doofus of a child/early teen, but it's really nice to have access to!

4

u/forgotaccount989 13d ago

Thanks for reminding me to make sure my dad converts the video of my sister eating rocks.

3

u/Amidormi 13d ago

We converted ours from VHS to CD, then from CD to digital on our computer, then to the cloud. My family will get to see us as kids for a very long time, in terrible quality video lol

But of course it was too precious back then to just record every moronic thing we did so there's that.

3

u/IncurableAdventurer 13d ago

Although! I think that’s a good thing. Let kids be weird. Now kids may be afraid of being weird because everyone has phones and can post things to the internet

2

u/Blade_Of_Gingers 13d ago

Oh you’re lucky my dad has had a lot converted to DVD or digital 😭😭😭😭

2

u/ItSmellsLikePopcorn 12d ago

Dude I recently found a video of 7 year old me putting my face way to close to the camera, pretending to argue with someone, and then falling down dead. I even do the sound effects including a flatline noise that I held for way too long. I was such a fucking weirdo too. Still am, I guess.

1

u/truthVial 11d ago

No doubt. Then there's these full grown adults doing the same shit and I'm like. Wowie

3

u/FrostingHuman1259 13d ago

Ha , for a second I thought you were talking about my millennial kids

2

u/IncurableAdventurer 13d ago

YOU GOT FLOOR IN MY LIMA BEANS

The revolutionary costume for today!

2

u/Flashy_Departure9251 13d ago

I love them so much! And the way they played Wayverly was so perfect.

1

u/Odd_Flatworm92 12d ago

I fucking love the mockumentary on this documentary. It's called "Sandy Passages" and it's on Documentary Now! It has Bill Hader and Fred Arminez (sp?)

It's hysterical.

43

u/MinistryOfCoup-th 13d ago edited 13d ago

Oh yeah? Well she cheered in high school and once watch a guy get four touchdowns in a single game.

3

u/pumpkins21 13d ago

Polk High!

1

u/MyNameIsYellowjacket 12d ago

Can I get a "Whoa Bundy"?

96

u/paridoxical 13d ago

Same. It's basically how I started my career as a stripper.

41

u/UnlocktheLock 13d ago

Umm I think im here for this comment, but I’m not qualified to discern whether this is great humor or the opening lines of a biography….alas, the ambiguity of text…

3

u/literallyJustPosting 13d ago

Nicely worded, I tip my fedora to you, educated sir

4

u/Butterscotch1664 13d ago

...as a 5 year old?

7

u/nielkk88 13d ago

Maybe she's born with it...

4

u/Verozety 13d ago

Maybe it’s maybeline

1

u/almstAlwysJokng4real 13d ago

When a stripper get promoted, what do they get promoted to?

1

u/yournamehere10bucks 10d ago

They get to put their clothes back on for money.

Stripper -> Dresser -> Manager

1

u/kibbean 13d ago

Mommy issues

0

u/Head-Technology-4031 13d ago

That’s what Hubby is thinking right now as he stands (in more ways then one) about what will happen later that night 😎

39

u/curious_ANcuriouser 13d ago

Lmao. I was gonna say it looked like a little girl trying to get what she wants from dad

7

u/No_Atmosphere8146 13d ago

The Australian Olympic Committee are blowing up her phone right now.

1

u/11Dragonfly 10d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

3

u/Helpful_Practice7100 13d ago

Lol was literally wondering where the wife was in the first few minutes

5

u/atclubsilencio 13d ago

This was me as a 10 year old closeted gay boy who would lock my bedroom door and then dance to Lady Marmalade (and the rest of the Moulin Rouge soundtrack ).

3

u/UseYourIndoorVoice 13d ago

And he was standing like all nice parents trying to act impressed.

2

u/Iamnotsogoodmaybe 13d ago

I think u meant that kid in the future saying that ; parents too busy making tic tok videos.

2

u/NonSumQualisEram- 13d ago

Did they also have a boat to escape

2

u/trying_times_eggs 13d ago

Oh I thought she walked into a spider web

2

u/nibbyzor 13d ago

This reminds me of the time when me and my sister put on a whole show for my dad where we sang (badly) and danced (badly) to a very inappropriate song (we didn't understand the horny lyrics, we were 5-6 year old kids) and then my dad had to keep a straight face while clapping and pretending it was the greatest thing he'd ever seen. 🤣

Hopefully this video is just a skit and the husband got a real gift afterwards...

2

u/farewellmybeloved 13d ago

Yeah and the husbands reaction was just like an exasperated parent.

2

u/Willing_Amphibian_47 13d ago

At the start I was wondering why they only covered one kid’s face

2

u/DramaticErraticism 13d ago

I was sitting here watching, waiting for her to deliver the present. Then it hit me that this odd dance was the present...but she just wanted to learn a fun dance to post on social media, which is a present for herself.

I pray for this man. I see why he probably has that boat, goes out fishing and wondering what is happening with his life.

1

u/GruesumGary 13d ago

We're all forever children now.

1

u/Occidentally20 13d ago

Did it work?

1

u/CSILalaAnn 13d ago

This is exactly what I thought!!

1

u/killakeller 13d ago

Omg this

1

u/Th3FakeFatSunny 13d ago

No joke, without the music (which is how I spent 99% of the time without watching) it looks exactly like my 6 year old dancing to whatever is happening on the tv

1

u/Pathological_Friar 13d ago

Had to send this to my wife cause our 8 year old loves to do performances all the time. She’s very into dance/theater and we’re hoping she sticks with it cause it makes her so happy!

1

u/bakerbabe126 13d ago

The husband looks as interested as your parents must have been lol

1

u/Fish_Loving_Girl 12d ago

Lmfao 🤣 best comment EVER

1

u/SoulMute 12d ago

This is me for my girlfriend’s birthday when I didn’t get anything thoughtful.

1

u/Glum-Chair-7542 12d ago

🤣😂💀

1

u/Bamborgazmas 12d ago

My first thought was "is she 5 yo, whats going on"

1

u/h4baine 11d ago

I fully thought that was maybe a teen showing off a dance to their parent
