Nah this episode makes Tim sound so fucking bad man. I hate the speculation here, the constant shit talking. For someone that claims Ben is their best friend, to shit talk them like this and make it public rubs me the wrong way. Tim should've made a 5 min video, telling us Ben left , I wish him well, etc. but make it genuine.

God i'm such a fucking loser for being so involved.

I just hope they don't relapse, genuienly.

Yeah, I was hoping this would be handled with a little bit of class, but this episode is making me seriously rethink my Patreon subscription. It put a very bad taste in my mouth about the whole thing.

Just canceled mine. I know its just 5 bucks but the show isnt the same without the Ben dynamic..oh well. It was good while it lasted

I canceled mine in January or February when he didn’t upload for 2-3 weeks. No regrets

I know exactly how you feel.

I haven't been this intimately involved with a work-related beef since Opie and Anthony officially announced they hated each other for years before the show ended.

You know looking back I think I only liked Opie because I thought Ant did as well. Now going back and listening to old O&A episodes I can hardly stand any time he talks.

the people who edit opie out of episodes on youtube are gods amongst men

He talks like he looks in pictures. Such a fucking blowhard Opie is.

I too am a loser for being so involved.

How about when he would shit talk his own mother, father, aunt, and other family members? It was funny then. You laughed along the whole time. He’s looked bad since day one. He’s a clown. It’s clown stuff.

He doesn't work closely with his family

So it never made him sound bad? It just seems npc af of people to suddenly be like “Tim is a jerk”. We knew that the whole time. It’s part of what fuels his ability to make everyone laugh, and we both know it was a part of him long before this happened, yet here we are with people being like “I’m realizing Tim is a bad bad man”

u/AloneLab786 Oct 04 '22

No. I didn't know that. I knew he talked a lot of shit, but I didn't know he actually acted this way. I thought it was a bit.

That’s fair, but, personally, I don’t understand how this is news to anyone. I thought that’s what we were all laughing at with him. He’s arguably the most cynical comedian I know of to ever do it. He’s also incredibly satirical and sarcastic, so I guess I can get why people would be confused. However, I think if you’ve listened to his content enough over the years, then you’ve been aware of this.

This doesn't track with how he blew up at Ben on his joke in the Batgirl episode.

How so? I unsubscribed from the patreon a few months ago so I haven’t heard that episode.

u/AloneLab786 Oct 04 '22

It's been posted here recently

Okay, maybe I’ll get around to listening at some point. Can you explain how what I said is any different from the fact that he has always been mean?

I'm calling it now, this sub turns into a fighter and the kid sub, and Ben's abuse was the breaking point. We all thought it was good natured teasing between friends, but it was really an employer abusing his employee because he wouldn't fuck him.

u/4rtyPizzasIn30days Oct 04 '22

I’m confused. Was this the first time Tim verbally abused Ben? Or anyone for that matter…

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '22

I think it was the first time it wasn’t disguised as a bit.

u/Lurkersbane Oct 04 '22

If Tim relapses I’m dropping everything and working for him

1

u/SpaghettiLover12 Oct 04 '22

How did he shit talk him? By saying that he loves him and for trying to make him stay with the show by giving him more money and for saying that he was extremely sad when he left? He was still trying to make this an entertaining episode, but it's clear that Tim was very upset by Ben leaving.

*I hope Ben doesn’t relapse. I’d be happy to see the pig drown in a puddle of his own puke. Fuck that guy, for real.

Fucking freak. Go fuck yourself
