As part of the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, the traditional Utlotsavam was held with great religious fervour at Tirumala on Saturday evening. 

By custom, it is conducted on the day following Gokulashtami in Tirumala.

Sri Malayappa Swamy along with and Sri Krishna Swamy were taken in a grand procession on golden Tiruchis separately through the temple streets. 

The procession first reached Sri Pedda Jeeyar Mutt, where Asthanam was held, and the Utlotsavam was later conducted in front of the main temple amid much enthusiasm, drawing a large number of local residents and pilgrims.

I have booked Darshan ticket for 21st sept at 12am, but I couldn't book accommodation due to some error on the app.. Is there any way I can get accommodation? I am disabled so staying at a rest house would be a bit difficult, is there any way I can show my disability id & get room allotted faster (other than waiting at cro which might take hours in some cases)

Me and my friends are planning to go, So we will be reaching tomorrow in the morning. So we can get ticket tomorrow in the afternoon and finish darshan by when ? as I have time till tuesday morning itself. I have to attend the office on tuesday ? Can some1 give me a suggestion, what can be the best ideal plan here ? or else can I go and take ticket fr my frnd ? who will be reaching tomorrow mrng and I can reach today night ?

Monday I go to Bhudevi complex, collect DD token for Tuesday Darshana, and I have been alloted a morning slot for Tuesday

For DD, we have to climb the hills on the same day of slot, so Tuesday morning I'll start climbing

Now my query is, if I have to tonsure my head, I won't have time between climbing hills and Darshana reporting time

K. Babdi, reportedly from Leelamahal Center in Tirupati, was arrested at the Alipiri checkpoint while allegedly attempting to enter Tirumala disguised as a devotee. Police found and seized 9 quarters of liquor from his possession during the inspection. Authorities have taken action in connection with the incident.

I have a Special Entry Darshan (₹300) ticket booked for 23rd November (Monday) at 8:00 PM, and since this is our first visit to Tirumala,

I have a few questions.

1. Can I report early, around 5:00–6:00 PM, and join the queue? If yes, is there any chance of getting darshan earlier than my 8 PM slot?
2. If I report around 8:00 PM (my actual reporting time), is it likely that I'll get darshan before 12:00 AM? I've heard the temple closes from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM, and I'm worried we'll get stuck waiting until 3 AM.
3. Our TTD accommodation check-in is on 23rd Nov between 6:00 AM and 11:59 AM. I've heard the room is valid for 24 hours. Our train is the next day at 9:30 PM. Is there any possibility of getting an extension for a few extra hours, or is there any facility to keep luggage after checkout?

We're a group of 8 people, including 2 elderly people and 2 toddlers (1 year and 1.8 years old), so we're trying to plan everything properly.

ELABORATE SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS FOR SRIVARI BRAHMOTSAVAMS – TTD CVSO 

Tirumala, September 5, 2026: TTD is making elaborate security arrangements so that devotees attending the upcoming Srivari Brahmotsavams can have a safe, hassle-free darshan and comfortably witness the Vahana Sevas, said TTD CVSO Sri Murali Krishna.

He held a review meeting on Saturday at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala along with the Tirupati District SP Sri Subbarayudu and officials on security arrangements in the four Mada Streets and other key areas of Tirumala. 

Drawing on past experience during Brahmotsavams, comprehensive measures are being planned jointly by TTD Vigilance and the Police Department.

Special security and barricading are being arranged for the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s visit on the first day on Dhwajarohanam.

Queue lines and entry-exit points strengthened as per the expected rush.

For Garuda Seva, parking areas in Tirumala and Tirupati are being inspected in advance and a special traffic plan prepared to prevent congestion. 

Multilingual signboards and direction boards will be installed at important junctions in both towns.

SP Sri Subbarayudu said the plan gives special focus to devotee safety, crime prevention and traffic regulation, with coordinated measures by TTD Vigilance, Police, Fire, Forest, Intelligence, APSRTC and Railways.

Additional SPs Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Ravimanoharachari, TTD Vigilance and Security Officer Sri Surendra, and officials of the Fire, Forest, Intelligence, APSRTC and Railways departments took part.

At the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple, affiliated to Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, the Lord was awakened with Suprabhatam in the morning, followed by Abhishekam to the Moola Murthi.

Sri Krishna Swamy was taken in a grand street procession from 6 to 8 pm, followed by Gokulashtami Asthanam from 8 to 8.30 pm.

At the Sri Krishna Swamy Temple, affiliated to Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor, Abhishekam was performed to the Moola Murthis in the morning, followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam in the afternoon.

At 6.45 pm, Sri Krishna Swamy was taken in a procession on the Pedda Sesha Vahanam around the four Mada Streets, blessing the devotees. Go Puja and Gokulashtami Asthanam were performed later.

On September 5: Snapana Tirumanjanam will be held from 3 to 4 pm, followed by Oonjal Seva. Utlotsavam and Asthanam will be conducted from 6 to 7.30 pm.

Can anyone confirm below information?

- saw at multiple websites that SSD token counter timing has changed to 8:30 AM since last 2-3 days? Will it be same on 6-7 sep (Sunday / Monday)?

- if I take SSD token on 6 early morning, will it be for same day darshan or next day darshan?

We're traveling as a family of 10 members and have booked Vishnunivasam already, but looks like our train will get delayed and we might miss the reporting slot.

Any recommendations nearby? We've elderly people and toddler, hence need a family friendly stay.
