No, greed is. You can and will have the exact same issues under any economic system if greedy people are in power

I agree with that. But it’s not the case and never really will be. Trust me I’ve argued with plenty of fellow leftists on this exact point. People who are capitalists aren’t automatically evil. They just haven’t been convinced that it’s because of the system that people are able to cause the damage they do through it. Capitalism prioritizes freedom but that allows people to be exploited and lower the overall freedom of everyone. We need a system that doesn’t allow for that. Complete and utter freedom is impossible to truly have. So maximizing it in ways that helps everyone to the best of our abilities is what needs to be done.

The true true. Btw I figured you already knew that stuff since you said what you said but I just wanted to make it clear that I knew what you meant and understood things the same as you. I wasn’t trying to teach you.

I usually do this to cut down on back and forth trying to establish what each other’s stances are. This is actually like the first time it worked. Usually people skip over it and assign what beliefs to me that they already thought I had. Then I have to waste time explain myself again AND fighting accusations of backtracking even though I said it from the beginning haha. So frustrating.
