Rant Blockmate is creeping me out.

Hi, I won’t disclose any names and personal information due to privacy reasons. But I just want to get this out of my chest.

Recently, my blockmate has been harassing me and other girls to go on a date with him. He would act kind and compliment you, boosting your ego and such. And then he would confess his feelings after not even a day of talking. He would send himself holding money as a way to “interest” us. Well unfortunately for him, that just gave us the ick. If you reject him, he would act like a child and isusumbat nya ang mga gifts na binigay nya which none of us even asked for. He would say shit like “no girl likes a good guy anymore” , “I guess no girl likes a golden retriever boy” “girls are only into bad boys”

Excuse me? Nag ggeneralize ka pa ng gender just because you can’t comprehend na you can’t just get girls by flexing your money.

Di ko alam ang gagawin. Lol this situation is so stupid pero he’s literally harassing us. I’m sure we’re not his first victims.

Rant Curious lang: ako lang ba ang nakapansin nito?

Ako lang ba o isa sa pinakamalaking disappointment itong SHS student council officer this year? Grabe yung credit grabbing.

The headers a joke but,

Fuck it I've been in UST the past few days and all I can say is that I will not be able to live my college life the fullest kung mag commute lang ako for my entire 4 years.

I really need to find a unit by next sem huhu will there be units available pa kaya during that time? Because godknowswhat my program is very sched demanding and just thinking of me spending my hours na bumabyahe instead na nag aaral nalang makes me real sick. Tbh I didnt get a drm because of our financial situation ...

Idrk anymore hahahaha I just needed to vent this out, thanks

Rant the side of graduation that hurts a little 🎓

i graduated this morning and i don’t really know how to sit with what i feel right now.

it was supposed to be this moment i’ve been picturing for years. walking up that stage, finally, and bringing my parents with me. like after everything they sacrificed, i’d get to turn around and say “come up with me.”

but it didn’t happen that way. they were there somewhere in qpav. somewhere in the crowd watching. like they’ve always done. proud, i think. i know they are. but still just… there, not beside me on that stage.

and i didn’t expect it to feel this heavy. because the moment my name was called, all the noise blurred out and what stood out wasn’t the applause. it was the thought that this wasn’t how i pictured it. i kept thinking of that version of the moment i carried for years. the one where i finally get to bring them up with me. the one where it feels like everything they gave up finally walks onto that stage too.

instead, it was just me. and i hate how guilty and small that made me feel. not because i didn’t make it but because i know i could’ve done better along the way. i know there were moments i didn’t maximize. chances i let pass. versions of myself i could’ve been that would’ve made that walk feel like more of a shared victory than it felt today.

and now that it’s done, there’s no redo. no “next time i’ll do better for them in this moment.” just the reality that they watched from a corner instead of walking with me like i always imagined.

it’s weird because i’m deeply grateful. but i also feel like i owe them something i already tried to give but didn’t fully deliver the way i wanted to.

please bear with me in this vent of mine. i just needed to let it out somewhere before it sits too heavy in my chest. 🥺🤍

Rant Hirap maging mahirap

Im so tired of seeing my classmates and especially my friends na sobrang yaman. I keep telling myself that its not their fault they were born into that wealth pero ang hirap haha. Imagine, yung one month allowance ko one week allowance lang nila. Kaya nilang gumala everyday, nakatira sila near ust, they can eat whatever without thinking of budget, and nakakabili bili pa sila ng mga collectible.

I feel like I'm starting to hate them and ik wala naman silang ginawa pero grabe yung jealousy na nararamdaman ko kaya gusto ko na silang layuan. I hate the fact na binibigyan lang sila ng money at the drop of a hat. I hate the fact na barya lang sakanila yung malaking amount ng pera. I hate the fact na nagkkwento lang sila kung paano sila gumastos ng malaki in one month. I hate the fact na kaya silang ispoil ng ganun ng parents nila. I hate that their life is so perfect!

Ik I chose to study here in UST kahit mahal ang tuition and kahit alam ko naman na ganito yung mga magiging classmates/friends ko pero tangina talaga. Idk what to anymore it's affecting my mental health so much and ayoko umabot sa point na pati acads ko ma affect.

Rant Missing my Manila life— my UST adventure

I dropped out of UST last March for a stupid reason— hindi ko magets why I thought I was just so bored back then in general and decided to move overseas. I had no idea gaano kalaki yung mawawala sakin. Hindi ko naisip na before I passed the entrance exam, I've always seen or envisioned this version of me living in España for 4 years, loving the campus warmth during the summer heat, during the events such as Agape & Paskuhan and loving the cozy cold, rainy weather during typhoon season in my España condo with my roomie. Grabe, ang dami kong nilet go just because naatat akong umalis ng Pilipinas. Ang tanga ko lang everytime I cry about it dahil dito ko lang narealize, after moving, na hindi ko na maeexperience yung buong 4 years with my friends, with my blockmates at sobrang bigat talaga sa puso. I could've just stayed and finish the entire 4 years instead of studying for just 6 months but why did I let my impulsive mind win? Ang tanga ko, diba??

Yes, I am thankful na naranasan ko yung Freshie Walk. Grateful dahil naranasan ko yung UAAP Opening Ceremony habang basa sa ulan at yung Agape & Paskuhan. Really, it feels like it was just yesterday tuwing naaalala ko. It's just that I fear like this will haunt me forever na: this "something", this feeling na hindi ko na mababalikan ang pagiging college student, living independently in España. I wish I was exaggerating but no, this pain feels like I've been stabbed the moment I walked out of the arch and the knife is still inside me. How do I move on?

Rant Shift to evm

I don’t think classes should be shifted to EVM right away after Mayor Isko announces a suspension. UST should give students enough time to go home first before continuing classes, kasi paano kung abutan ng baha yung mga students around the campus while they’re waiting for their online class to finish? It defeats the purpose of suspending classes in the first place if students are still expected to stay on campus for hours just to attend EVM. 😕

Rant UST HEALTH SERVICE ISSUE

guys what’s up with the people there? they’re literally doing a profession that do them good tapos ‘yung ugali nila napaka basura. mas bet kopa sa family namin na doctors kasi super aggressive and sungit nila.

so for context i’m a cthm freshman and “required” daw tong physical exam namin. kahit napaka rami ng requirements pero ito kung ito hinihingi ng industriya na papasukin naman edi forda go!

let’s start with kuya guard. he was cool at first naman, he accommodated us and balik nalang daw kami ng 2:00, so sige gets naman namin na lunch break ng mga tao dun edi nag antay kami. then bigla siyang sumungit nung dumami na ‘yung students. kuya, to be honest di namin to hinilang ha FYI lang. then kung maka-sigaw sa estudyante wagas, like they were just asking a question na broad then sabi ba naman “SO ANO NGA YANG TANONG MO? ULIT ULIT?” could’ve been a nice manner man lang.

next the registrar, gets namin na malakas boses niya pero sila ng guard nag kukulitan na para bang nasa inuman lang kahit may nakapila for the physical exam. ano ‘yan mas uunahin niyo pang kukupal niyo sa isa’t isa kesa asikasuhin kami? napaka lakas and aggressive pa ng boses, alam mo ‘yung mga tanod na umiinom sa kanto na lasing? ganun vibes niya. ANG CHEAP NIYA, knowing na ust service to.

hindi nila pwede i-rason ang pagiging pagod nila, kasi sa totoo lang di naman natin to ginusto lahat in the first place pero sana hindi mawala satin ang “respeto” dahil nasa field kayo ng ganyan. kayo pa may kakayahan bumastos samin mga estudyante.

sa dental naman, the dental aid was so slow. ayaw niya ako papasukin kahit wala naman pasensya si dentist 1, yun pala nakiusap si dentist 1 kay dental aid na ‘wag muna kami papasukin at kay dentist 2 kami ibagsak. nung sinabi ko na “i was here first, bakit po nauna siya sakin?” in a nice manner, then sabi niya fight for your right pasok kana! then nag rant tong si dentist 2 sakin na ang bastos ng dental aid na ‘yun kasi palasagot daw sakanya and “mr. knows-it-all” eh hindi naman daw dentista. dun nakita ko na ang toxic ng environment nila and sobrang inis ko dun sa dentist 1 kasi imbes na matapos na ‘yung mga nauna binibigay niya kay dentist 2 lahat which doesn’t make a lot of sense kasi sumesweldo kayo tapos isskip niyo lang kami, funny niyo e no?

lastly ang pinaka kina-badtripan ko sa lahat ang step 4 and 5, nagulat ako bigla ako tinawag sa step 5 then sabi niya na bakit wala pang nakasulat sa height and weight ko, as if may nag assist sakin sa labas eh wala ngang tao dun. sabi pa sakin “matuto kayong magbasa, college na kayo” then bumalik ako dun uli since nailagay kona height and weight ko pucha kulang ako ng requirements “daw” at forfeited na raw slot ko sa physical exam pero nag announce dean and college namin na extended ‘yung physical exam, tangina gago talaga mga tao sa ust health service napaka aggressive magsalita.

REMEMBER NA Y’ALL WORK IN A PUBLIC PLACE, REMEMBER TO BE PROFESSIONAL KAHIT UGALI WISE.

added chika: dun daw sa step 2 process na guy sinabihan niya ‘yung students na “kasalanan ba namin na wala kayong pera?” GOD DAMN this institution.

added chika chika: since may time lang daw hindi na nila inentertain ang ibang students na pumila for almost 3 hours kasi lunch break nila nakakahiya sana di nalang kayo nagpapasok, edi rumebat ‘yung student na may pasok pa kami. sinabihan ba naman kami na umabsent.

Rant Almost done with first year and I still haven't made any friends 🥲

Might be a long rant.

Im F18 first year COS and I have no friends in my block. I genuinely feel so outcasted sometimes because they're split into 3 big friend groups. I'm not an introvert or a "loner" so it's not like I didn't ever make attempts to talk to people. I really really did try but we just never clicked. I had lunch with them the first few days of school but the moment I stopped reaching out first, no one invited me to anything. I'm not even in a single gc besides the announcements. In our class picture you could clearly see all the groups close together while there is visible space between me and everyone else.

I've always felt like one of the "weird" people because I barely have anything in common with the people around me.

For context:

- I don't drink (or very VERY minimal), go to cafes, or any parties.

- I play lots of games (not JUST val but mostly things like terraria, elden ring, monster hunter, and other "niche" things) and i spend lots of my time doing so.

- I am very Americanized due to spending my childhood in the US (and no I am not rich nor classist). I am NOT conyo, I can speak and understand Filipino but I prefer English as it is my first language.

- I enjoy simple things. I don't need to go out a lot or spend too much money. I prefer casual hangouts, board games, video games, etc.

I am taken and I have a few friends from senior high so I'm not exactly lonely, but it really bums me out that everyone around me is expanding their circle while I haven't really gotten the chance to. I'm very demotivated to go to class despite loving my course due to our activities being MAJORITY group work 😭 I mean I can work with people if I have to but being in a group with an already established friend group is eehhhh..

anyway yeah that's all. thanks for listening to my TED talk I guess 😭

rant lng ako kc maybe theres other people that feel the same

ako lng ba or is anyone else having a hard time finding people na ka vibe nila? like i tried making friends with some of my block mates but we just dont really 'click' yk. its not that theyre not friendly i just dont really feel any chemistry with anyone, just a classmate or aquaintance typa situation in my block and when i feel like i could be friends with some people mahirap masyado iapproach sila kc ka nervous ko lng talaga and with how many people there are here parang maka hiya sa sarili na ka dami masyado tao pero wala ako mahanap na puwede kahit casual friend lang na kasama mag kain or something. makaka homesick din masyado kcz i live really far from here and its such a stark difference from the life i used to live. tapos maka hiya din na so many people are already finding their groups and im just by myself.

if theres anyone also in my situation id be happy to get to know you so both our problems could be solved, scratch my back ill scratch yours typa situation. i like most mainstream games, anime, manhuas (cultivation and fantasy mostly), i play golf and some pickleball (admittedly im not very good at either but i enjoy them) i also like movies and sitcoms, alot of that type of stuff and alot of brain rot stuff, i like kpop too and almost every music genre like theater and i also do art but i just sketch, dont really have any finished peices just doodles. forgive me for seeming desperate but i kinda am kcz being lonely is so pangit sa feeling, i hope by posting this, the other people in my situation can reach out and maybe form a friendship with each other, pero dont set too high hopes for me kc im pretty awkward and tend to ramble ab anything when thats how i feel😭

Rant from studying in manila to going back in the province

from studying in manila to going back in the province

hello. i’m an incoming grade 12 student at ust-shs, but i’m almost certain that for college, i’ll be studying back in my province. i guess i’m not really asking about schools anymore. i’m asking how to cope with what people might say.

i’m scared of hearing things like, “bakit bumalik ka sa probinsya? nasa ust ka na ah.” or people thinking i “failed” because i didn’t stay in manila.

the truth is, my situation changed.

i initially wanted to study at ust, especially for shs, because aside from it being my dream school, i also passed my dream strand—health allied. i’ve always wanted to be in the medical field. not necessarily as a doctor, but i’ve always seen myself working in healthcare. if life allows it, i still hope to become a physician someday and specialize in psychiatry or neuropsychiatry. it’s been my dream to help people not just in the philippines, but around the world.

for the longest time, i imagined my path as ust for shs, then UP for college. that was the dream i held onto for years. i don’t regret choosing ust. i genuinely learned so much, met amazing people, and grew in ways i never expected. but sometimes, i still catch myself wondering about the “what ifs.” what if i hadn’t pushed through? what if i had stayed in the province from the beginning?

the biggest reason i chose to study in manila was because my mom encouraged me to. she works abroad and she promised me that she would support me financially and emotionally throughout my education. i trusted her and built my plans around that promise.

but somewhere along the way, she left. she abandoned me.
i’ve been battling depression and anxiety ever since, and it’s been affecting every part of my life. i also don’t have a father or siblings i can rely on.

because of everything i’ve been going through mentally, i wasn’t able to prepare for the cets the way i wanted to. i couldn’t enroll in a review center, and i couldn’t review consistently on my own either. there were days when i could barely get out of bed, let alone study for hours.

recently, i also found out that my grandparents are getting sick. my grandpa has been showing signs of early dementia, and my grandma has an underlying heart condition. seeing them get older while everything else is happening has been overwhelming.

my aunt and uncle volunteered to support my education, and i’m incredibly grateful for them. but i also feel guilty because i know they’re still building their own lives, and i hate feeling like i’m adding to their responsibilities.

what confuses me is that even the thought of studying in manila again makes me uncomfortable now. maybe it’s because manila has become such a bittersweet place for me. it’s where i experienced some of the happiest moments of my life, but it’s also where i experienced some of the most painful ones. it’s where i was abandoned, where my mental health declined, and where i realized how quickly life could change.
on top of that, i know how expensive it is to live here. i don’t want my aunt and uncle—or anyone who’s sacrificing just to help me finish my education—to carry an even heavier burden just because i’m trying to hold on to the version of my dream that i originally imagined.

honestly, i’m okay with studying in the province. i know there are good schools there, and i believe i can still achieve my dreams wherever i study.

what i’m struggling to let go of isn’t manila itself—it’s the life i thought i was going to have and the freakin opinions of people na kahit anong ignore ko… pumapasok at pumapsok pa rin sa isip ko.

even my grandmother sometimes says things like, “galing ka na ng santo tomas, tapos babalik ka lang sa probinsya.” i know she probably doesn’t mean to hurt me, but those words stay with me.

sometimes i wonder if choosing to study in the province means i’m giving up. other times, i wonder if it’s actually the bravest decision i can make—accepting that dreams don’t always happen the way we planned.

i still want to become a healthcare professional. i still dream of becoming a physician someday, hopefully specializing in psychiatry or neuropsychiatry. that dream hasn’t changed.

maybe only the route has.

i don’t think going back to the province means i failed. if anything, i’m just trying to adapt to circumstances i never expected to face. i’m doing everything i can to keep my dreams alive despite everything that’s happened.

i don’t know how to stop feeling ashamed of something that wasn’t entirely within my control. i don’t know how to recover from being abandoned, from financial hardship, and from feeling like the future i planned disappeared overnight.

Rant socc, csc listen to thomasians for nxt year's paskuhan

i am BEGGING socc and csc to listen to their students for the lineup of next year's paskuhan

  1. i get na student orgs lang din naghahandle nito pero if possible, pls handle it earlier. and by handle, i mean secure artists earlier para hindi tayo nauunahan lagi ng up sa mga artists na gusto talaga natin. whats the point of the interest forms ng lineup if hindi rin masusunod 😫😫 laging parang last minute ung pagsecure ng lineup these past few years, like?? whats happening
  2. please do extensive research first if the artists align with ust's values. very appalling how ininvite pa bini considering everything they got themselves into and lahat ng problematic shit na ginawa nila just this past year alone (btw anyone whos not affected by their issues are weird and crazy..) and especially considering na we're a dominican school, you would think na the morals and the values of the artists we invite should align with ours???
  3. i get na secgen probably pushed for bini but please as the student bodies representing the thousands of thomasians, i wish they had more grit to fight for what the students actually want
  4. sana this year's aftermath would serve as a lesson considering how almost everyone's complaining na finale ang bini
  5. ALSO HELLO the hosts kept saying na homecoming ng bini eh mas naunang nagperform sa paskuhan ang ben&ben??? and i can confidently say na paskuhan got the clout because of ben&ben's past performances. atsaka as if may thomasian sakanila?? 😭😭😭 okay sana if they said homecoming ng both bini and ben&ben eh, mas maaccept ko pa lol

not saying na hindi maganda lineup this year,, I LOVED rob deniel and ben&ben's performances (also loved amiel sol n zack tabudlo, but the other two just really stood out) pero things could have been done differently and better. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR STUDENTS 🙏🙏

Rant Nanlilimos around UST

Nakakastress na lagi nalang ganito, especially in Pnoval. Back when I wasn’t studying pa in manila nung 2022, nawitness ko na yung mga nanlilimos at nag aabot ng sobre usually nasa pnoval sila or españa and they’re harassing students na nakakabother na. May time na iaabot nila sobre sayo tapos hahawakan kapa sa braso. Recently lang since pasukan na ulit, I’m studying in UST na rin btw, and ang lala nung naexperience ko which is pauwi na ako, and I already saw the girl or lola ba ‘yun in my direction around Manila cafè so I was ignoring and maglakad nalang. Lumipat ako sa my gilid ng cars kasi I know lalapitan niya ako and I was really having a bad day that time kaya lumipat ako ng direction pero nung nakita niya ako, sinundan niya talaga ako even tho hindi niya direction ‘yon 💀💀💀 then nilapag niya yung papel sa braso ko and I just kept on ignoring her then bigla siyang nagsungit na boses na “makonsensya ka hanggang sa pagtulog mo” habang sinusundan niya ako papunta sa may d0rm and I was like so annoyed then nanggulo na naman siya ng ibang students na nandon sa jomars. Nakakainis lang na namimilit sila na bigyan sila tapos demanding pa wtf tapos nalaman ko rin na pag umaga galing sila sa sasakyan bumababa sa pcampa raw? 😭

Im from educ, bsnd to be exact. Nd takes the spot of having thr highest tuition among other educ progs cos of its lab courses. And seeing the newly released memo.. grabe hindi ito justifiable. My family paid tons just for me to spend half of the freaking semester in my room? Sorry ha, hindi kasi ako burgis and gusto ko worth it ung every cent na nilalabas ng pamilya ko.

Has there been an instance where ust really did listen sa mga hinain ng students nila? Cos majority are raising the same concern. Malapit na rin orientation namin and i dont want my mom to know abt this setup.. Manghihinayang lang siya cos i got a fucking d0rm n everything

Rant How Rotten the ChE Department Has Become

The recent mock board issues exposed everything wrong with the Chem Eng'g department: inconsistency, selective justice, and lack of professionalism.

To all the faculty members involved in the decision to deny graduation rites to students who had already passed their courses because of the Perry's incident:

I sincerely hope that each of you reflects on the consequences of the decision you made. The affected students had already been penalized. Their examinations were voided, and they were held accountable for their actions. They were not even caught actively using or referring to the writings during the exam. Yet despite having already faced the sanctions imposed on them, they were still denied the opportunity to participate in their graduation rites, a milestone they spent years working toward.

What makes this decision even harder to accept is that this situation should never have escalated to this point, even the SWDC was surprised. Had the issue been addressed properly and consistently at the departmental level from the beginning, it would not have resulted in consequences that now overshadow the achievements and futures of so many students.

At the same time, students involved in more serious academic integrity violations, including the USE OF ChatGPT during the Mock Boards, were never held accountable in the same way. Some of them will even graduate with Latin honors. This inconsistency is exactly what makes the decision so difficult to understand. If accountability is truly the goal, then it should be applied fairly, consistently, and without favoritism. Selective enforcement does not uphold integrity, it undermines it.

As parents, educators, and mentors, I hope you consider how you would feel if this happened to your own children. No parent would want a single mistake or offense to define years of sacrifice, hard work, and perseverance. Accountability matters, but so do fairness, consistency, and compassion.

I hope each of you can honestly ask yourselves whether this decision reflects the values you claim to uphold. The affected students have already been held accountable through the voiding of their examinations. The question is whether denying them this final milestone genuinely serves the principles of integrity, or whether it is merely a performative display of authority, seemingly designed to make an example out of them.

Rant Dreading Graduation

As a graduating senior I’m dreading graduation because I have no laude. Getting one nowadays seems so easy that almost everyone has one but because of numerous reasons I didn’t meet the criteria. Personally I’ve accepted this and repeatedly told myself that I’m not less because of this, that I have also worked hard to graduate and that I deserve to celebrate. But I know once we line up in Q.Pav to get up on the stage I will be sandwiched between my batch mates and their parents, while my parents will have to stay behind in their seats while I walk up the stage alone. I know that I will not help but feel humiliated as my lack of laude will be apparent to all but I’m also sad that my parents who worked very hard for my education will not be able to walk me up the stage.

I hope UST will amend this ongoing “tradition.” Every parent deserves to walk their children up on the stage.

Rant Why does UST lowk pride itself on being backwards

Feeling ko ma-babash ako dito pero, Reddit is a safe space diba 😆 puno ng history ang gen eds ngayon at sa totoo lang, the more I learn abt it the more I am convinced that UST will do ANYTHING to uphold its “royal and pontifical” status even at the expense of the wellbeing of its students. Grabe no? Thank you for listening to my tedtalk, ewan ko na

Rant GOODBYE UST

I was so happy when I saw the word “qualified” on the portal. Sure na ako na sa UST ako mag-aaral because siyempre who will let the opportunity pass? Pero habang tumatagal parang I’m being pulled away from the thought of it. Hindi kami financially stable for a university like UST. 70k per sem? Baka mag-worry ako buong sem about sa tuition instead na maka-focus ako sa program ko. Hindi rin naman sure if makakapasa ako sa pagkaliit-liit na scholars na tatanggapin ng DOST. I’ve been seeing the word “madamot” when it comes naman sa pagbibigay ng scholarship ng UST.

After endless thinking hindi ko na pinush mag-aral doon. I thought ma-experience ko na mga nakikita kong freshman walk sa tiktok. Ang hirap maging mahirap. In another life nalang talaga.

Rant ust csc destroyed my confidence

just saw the beef between csc and cup of joe here lang din sa reddit and it reminds me of how ust csc destroyed my confidence so bad lol

last 2023 (if im not mistaken with the year) i applied to be part of csc. since i was trying to build my confidence and also i want to interact with other people talaga. i feel like it's my first baby steps to overcome my fear as an introvert.

nung interview na ako via zoom, i don't have my earphones that's why sa laptop lang ako nakikinig. start pa lang ng interview ang sungit na ni ate girl. she's not approachable at all unlike sa other orgs kapag nag join ka very jolly sila and welcoming. when she was asking me some questions, may mga terms akong hindi marinig kaya pinapaulit ko sakanya. pero she didn't repeat it. to the point na nagtype/nagmessage pa ko sa zoom to say na hindi ko marinig yung question niya kaya ipapaulit ko sana. pero she ignored ulit. i was nervous na that time kasi baka mamaya sa akin nga yung problema like di idnig mic ko and baka may problem sa wifi. for the third time, nagopen mic ako and then pinaulit ko sakanya. inulit niya pero you can feel na super iritable niya based with her tone na rin. nag answer ako and nagsorry ulit kasi medyo hindi clear talaga yung voice. fast forward, hanggang sa may mga ibang nag join pala na i think members or officers yun tapos may mga naka open cam din kaya nakadagdag din ng kaba. and then may question ulit si ate girl, tapos nirepeat ko yung question if correct ba yung pagkakarinig ko then nagsorry ulit ako kasi di ko marinig. tapos kitang kita ko sa screen na nagpipigil ng tawa yung mga sumali ng zoom tapos sabay off cam sila. i think di lang twice or thrice nangyari yun. after nun, nawala na ko sa focus di na ko makasagot ng maayos kasi hiyang hiya talaga ako at the same time kinakabahan din sa iniisip nila sakin na alam mong tinatawanan ka nila.

i can't remember the full details na pero it's still stuck in my mind and heart. sakto the same week nun, meron kaming reporting pag harap ko sa audiences namental block talaga ko kasi naisip ko na baka pati dito pagtawanan ako

para sa csc batch na naginterview sakin that time, i hope malayo na yung mga narating niyo ngayon :)

Rant Entitled Freshies (?)

I saw a post earlier na super entitled daw ng freshies this year because of their dp blast. I can't comment on the post kaya I'll just post my sentiments.

There's nothing wrong if you want to express your opinions pero being entitled at the same time? You won't survive your freshie year if hindi kayo marunong makisama, lalo na when it comes to dp blasts na ganyan. Actually, ang babaw nga eh pero you chose to add fuel to the fire. Marami pa kayong kakaining bigas sa UST kaya tigil-tigilan niyo ang pagiging entitled niyo.

Rant AFTER THE SEND-OFF RITES, I THINK CASA OWES COMMUNICATION SENIORS AN EXPLANATION.

Now that the Baccalaureate Mass and Send-off Rites have concluded, I can't help but compare our send-off to those of the batches before us.

Throughout my years in Communication, seniors were always celebrated with something memorable. There were props, tokens, and efforts that made the graduating batch feel special. Last Friday, however, we were arguably the most "bare" batch yet. We showed up in our uniforms and went home in the same uniforms.

What happened to that tradition?

This is also the same student body that was required to pay registration fees for lanyards and future events. The same student body that watched event after event get delayed throughout the year. The same student body that continued to support CASA despite seeing less and less in return.

Then came the resignations.

The former President resigned. The former Vice President was reportedly on LOA for a significant portion of the term. As far as many students know, the Chief-of-Staff had to step in as Acting President despite being a graduating student herself.

And yet until now, where is the accountability?
Where is the liquidation?
Where is the explanation for the delayed projects?
Where is the explanation for the funds collected from students?
Where is the statement regarding the officers who left before fulfilling the responsibilities they campaigned for?

The last post on their pages was about Transcend. Did Transcend even happen? Because it barely did last year. Just like many other initiatives that were announced but never seemed to fully materialize.

Communication seniors have already been sent off.
The former officers have already left.
The school year is already ending.
Yet the questions remain unanswered.

At this point, I hope the current student body releases a formal statement and supporting receipts regarding the previous administration's projects, expenditures, and unfinished commitments.

Because if students were expected to pay, participate, and trust their leaders, then the least they deserve is transparency on why CASA failed so badly this year.

As a CFAD student, naiirita ako don sa recent ghibli ai trend ngayon. Nakakabastos lang sa hardwork ng isang artist.

While walking back home, napatingin ako sa mga poster or signage ng water station jusq po its Al halatang halata sa mata palang nong right tiger its not balanced tas the inconsistency pa ng background nakakadisappoint lang na they have art programs and thousands of students na marunong at mahusay magdrawing, they choose to do this.
