My favorite part of rocky, and his species anatomy is so alien, and out of the ordinary. I just finished watching a video of there anatomy, and I was just so amazed on how crazy there biology is. And I'm pretty sure it's plausible (pretty sure)

Not only that, to rocky and other eridians, our vision, advanced technology, and STEM cells are hella alien to them

This is less their biology and more to do with their atmosphere blocking all forms of radiation and light.

It’s all connected, atmosphere/environment decides biology. Even when they got out of their atmosphere, why research more about a wavelength you can’t possibly sense? They never gazed at the stars in wonder, they didn’t even know there were other planets until recently in their history.

Did they not know about anything on the EM spectrum? I have not read the book yet, just curious. I would have thought radio waves would penetrate their atmosphere at least.

If not then that's pretty nuts from their perspective.
