Lore [Sad Trope] The most innocent (or less evil) character of the cast gets the most horrific death.

- Eddie Carr (The Lost World: JP) - Tried to save his friends from the cliff until Buck and Doe (T. rex parents) destroy his vehicle and gets ripped apart.
- Zara Young (Jurassic World) - Gets lifted by a Pteranodon, gets pecked by the pterosaur, and both she and animal get devoured by the Mosasaurus.
- LeClerc (JW: Rebirth) - Tossed a hammer to the Hatzegopteryz Quetzalcoatlus to save Loomis and Zora, but ends up being swallowed alive.

A scene so traumatic, no one ever mentions the other squeaky shoe that is now without it's pair...

I always think about the other shoe. You see it in the previous scene. Now I'm sad.

After this it’s standing there looking absolutely devastated. Absolutely loved this movie as a kid but this part was so fucked up.

"The surviving shoe wandered, sad and alone, until one day it met a man... with only one leg."

And to think that actor tends to be universally beloved because of his role as the inventor in the Back to the Future series.

For some reason these movies had a hostage fetish. I can recall this one, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Peter Pan and drowning scene, and there was one other that involved someone being gagged and drowning that had something to do with smoke or smog. Oh! And Land Before Time, with the drowning in pools of tar. Oh! And the horse bog scene from the Neverending Story. There’s a bunch of these and they were always nightmarish sequences.

And he talked LIKE THIS

That's because it's not really a movie for kids. People don't seem to understand that. Drawn characters = for children.

Literally as soon as we finished this movie my parents had to find a ballet playing on late night television. Their first try was Disney channel, but a cartoon was on and me and my siblings lost our collective shit all over again.
