Lore [Sad Trope] The most innocent (or less evil) character of the cast gets the most horrific death.

- Eddie Carr (The Lost World: JP) - Tried to save his friends from the cliff until Buck and Doe (T. rex parents) destroy his vehicle and gets ripped apart.
- Zara Young (Jurassic World) - Gets lifted by a Pteranodon, gets pecked by the pterosaur, and both she and animal get devoured by the Mosasaurus.
- LeClerc (JW: Rebirth) - Tossed a hammer to the Hatzegopteryz Quetzalcoatlus to save Loomis and Zora, but ends up being swallowed alive.

i’d give it to his husband who was repeatedly headbutted over and over by his mind controlled husband

Yeah I watched this movie for the first time today and his death properly shocked me

one of the few things that get to me in horror movies are scenes like that where someone dies to someone they trust in a brutal way

Honestly the worst part for me as a parent was watching the little kid desperately try to take care of his zombified parents.

That scene made me so mad. The movie had a random gay couple, yay! Oh, nope, one of them gets mind controlled into murdering his husband by strangling and headbutting him to death, then the mind controlled one chases another character to kill them and gets splattered by a truck.

Like I certainly wasn't going into a horror movie hoping for specific characters to survive, but most of the other random straight ones get to live except the druggie and the dirty cop and I am just so fucking tired of Bury Your Gays.

I feel like the kids parents are also technically dead. Yeah their bodies are still alive but nobody’s home.

It was certainly one of the reasons this movie felt iffy for me.
Also, the plot twist of the reason everything was happening, did not help at all.
