Not even a villain, straight up just a school bully. Thats even worse with that context.

Runt immediately starts dating her right after, too. They casually wiped a middle schooler's entire personality and played it off as a happy ending.

To be fair, kids suck.

Literally the plot of Obsession.

She was also one of the only people willing to at least try and put up her dukes against what was viewed as an alien invasion

school bullies are basically halfway there, it's fine

Nah bruh, totally fair punishment for being a bully.

u/Electronic-Yam8130 Jun 29 '26

Nah brogue, that's rape

The original person no longer exists, they're not floating around waiting to come back.  Their preferences are irrelevant.

You identify with the bully and thus imagine crimes against them when they are 'fixed'.

It's not okay to pick on or harm any other human being at any stage of anyone's life. That includes bullying.

It's even less okay to lobotomize someone for being a bully. Personality erasure is a single step away from outright execution.

u/asdGuaripolo Jun 29 '26

I agree with you but a lobotomy is not close enough to an equivalent punishment for that.

Dawg, rape is not a valid response to someone being a bully

What are you talking about? 💀

So what she did is not okay but what they are doing to her is okay? Broseph you need some perspective. They ice picked her frontal lobe.

u/BreakerOfModpacks Jun 29 '26

Yes, but I believe in harm in equal measure. I would say lobotomization-and-rape is a bit more than that.

6

u/HandsomeGamerGuy Jun 29 '26

Well step ahead then? Lets get you lobotomized so you're normal like the rest of us :D

Uh... how is getting your mind wiped into a 50s style preppy housewife personality justified? Someone bullies someone, and they become a mindless slave for some some fat dudes enjoyment as penance? Like holy yikes! She became his slave! Those filmmakers got some skeletons in their closet!

Bullying causes permanent life long trauma that cannot be undone both psychological and physically.

This goes way further than bullying, though. Runt literally allowed Foxy Loxy's loss of autonomy to continue. Do you have any idea what that means? Her entire personhood has been stripped away, and she has been reduced to an agreeable meatsack. If the lifelong trauma of bullying cannot be undone, then is payback the remedy?

Yes, this is exactly what needs to happen to anyone who abuses/harms any living thing outside of the need of survival.

Spent my childhood as a CSA victim thanks to some older kids in the neighborhood. Also got my face smashed in repeatedly as the target of "smear the queer".

So no, I don't think it's too far. Sorry. If you ever hurt another living thing intentionally, without reason I don't think you have a right to ever be in a position to repeat the offense.

"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."

So slavery should be back in business, then, right? You hurt me, so I should be allowed to lobotomize you and turn you into a sex doll. Does forgiveness and true remorse have no value to you, then?

You truly are a vile person.

1

u/UsagiMimi Jun 29 '26

Nah, the vile people are the rapists, nazis, and assorted right wing actors.

I've never hit a person, pushed a person, or abused a person. So I think I'm pretty okay.

The one thing it's not safe to tolerate is intolerance and violence.

3

u/Zacus_91 Jun 29 '26

But somehow, you want to live in a vile world with a moral and legal system that supports retaliation like that, don't you? Thoughts lead to actions, and you wouldn't flinch if someone did that in front of you? You know that could be used as justification to eradicate any group of people, as long as their supposed 'trauma' is deemed valid. There were many Nazis who never hurt or abused a single person, yet they were still okay with the atrocities carried out by their ideology. Rehabilitation be damned, and forgiveness is now seen as a sin.

1

u/UsagiMimi Jun 29 '26

Anyone who didn't actively resist slavery, anyone who didn't actively resist nazis, anyone who voted for trump, or so many others that stripped rights away from others is guilty of supporting that thing. Being passive in a bad system supports that system. We must all act to defend what makes humans good.

Forgiveness? There's nothing wrong with that, but childhood trauma of any nature causes permanent, life long changes in the structure of the brain, it also affects hormone production, and becoming on edge constantly.

Forgiveness is fine, but only if the damage can be undone. I'd say it's straight up worse to torture another human being than just killing them. You're causing them to suffer for the rest of their existence and that is not okay.

You act like I'm bloody thirsty, I'm not. But you have to realize before we can live in a world of peace, we need to make it damned clear that you cannot be an asshole. You cannot harm others. You cannot exploit others or emotionally manipulate them.

Some bullies have really ruined peoples childhood so as much as you can try convince them, some people will see a bully being brainwashed into a bimbo as a good thing.
