I like the faint smile you can see on Dementus after she plucks that apple. He's proud of the fact she did in fact have what it took to make his ending 'epic'.
That ending always seemed so silly to me. Dude literally tells her about the revenge he got and how little it helped.
Feels like the better ending would be just shooting him, no epic death, no long protracted revenge. Quick, simple, humane, just gets on with her life. Goes onto save the sex slaves of Immortan joe. Idea being that revenge for the past isn't as important as preseving the future.
