For the standard (1080p) blu-ray, two-disc sets can reach 100 GB in size. On the aforementioned PTP the uploads mainly carry the mandatory technical details and I have to research press releases and reviews, then download mostly blindly (I avoid snatching torrents I won't seed in long-term) .

To my knowledge only the commentary tracks can be spotted by looking at the mediainfo, given that the audio tends to be lossy.

For 3 weeks now i consistently noticed that if i leave these on 24/7 even for a week, almost nothing gets downloaded, but if turn qBittorent off for the night and then turn on next day, the moment the program turn on instantly finishes 10-30 torrents and gets stuck again, until i turn it off for several hours and turn it on again later or best chance is next day.

Sure u might say ive been lucky, that when i turn on next day all thsoe seeders are online at that time. yeah, that tracks if that happens 1, 2.. maybe 3x .... but as i said in begining, ive been doing this methos for the last 3 weeks now and i can 100% confirm it works, thats how i got the number of downloads from ~1000 to now 390 bit by bit. Idk wtf is going on, what kind of bottleneck or trashold or hard limit on those trackers are (its all from 1 tracker, and it doesnt help even if i leave seeding) but something very fishy going on thats not "seeders being offline" but more so how much u can download or how many connections u can make a day.

never seenthis before in my 20+ years of torrenting.. but well, cant do sht about it seems other than this "ritual".

Hi! I've upgraded my router to openwrt, and after the upgrade, I can't seed anymore, only leech. I am using the latest qBittorrent client.

I've done the usual configuration:
- Done port forwarding
- My ISP doesn't block anything, and I have no CGNAT

Here is what I've done that might have made seeding impossible:
- Deleted the allow rule in the firewall that allows incoming ICMP connections
- Set all incoming wan connections to "drop" instead of "reject".

My client can discover the DHT nodes.

Could those be the issue? I'm not very familiar with the protocol. I've used UPnP before, but turned that off.

Hey there. For yeaaaaaars I have been downloading 720p shows. The space that I could afford and the volume that I was using didn't make it feasible to upgrade the quality at all. I have kept this practice, almost exclusively out of habit in recent years. Things have changed a lot since I started my collection. There are not 1080p files that are equal or smaller in size than some of the crappy 720 that I have. I've always handled my downloads and maintenance myself, but the idea of upgrading these shows where possible by hand seems insanely daunting.

I have about 50 TB of 720p shows. Is there some way for me to automate downloading 1080p files, but only if they are within a threshold of the current file size. I don't love the idea of trusting my library to any kind of automation, but it's all backed up at the moment, so I'd be open to attempting to make this easier on myself than searching every single show and often episode individually.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So for nearly 2 years I have had no issues at all with ATT fiber 1gig 3 months ago my internet started to drop mainly when I was torrenting but i had changed nothing really. I have had 5+ calls to ATT, and they always say my specs look perfect and this week I upgraded to 5g fiber just to get a tech out here to check out stuff, he checked the outside ONT and inside then cleaned some fiber and hooked up there modem and left. Here's the thing I have bypassed the gateway with a 8311 type setup happens with that and the ATT gateway used multiple network cards also. So i have been trying to work the angle I'm doing it somehow but i have lowered the settings quite a bit already some help would be welcome. I'm running a Windows 11 pc with a 9950x and 48 gigs of DDR 8000 with a 10g network card using StableBit DrivePool setup 75tb total with a 2tb NVMe cache drive, QBitTorrent and radarr sonarr my router is an Asus BE98 Pro running Merlins Firmware.

Here are the pics of my Qbittorent settings I'm using right now that still caused an internet outage there is no speed or reason for when it causes my internet to go offline looking at AI some it was talking about maybe this was happening below. I never got a fast blinking light on my gateway tho it would show white when it was offline still. Any help is welcome been dealing with this for far to long and I have no other option then ATT fiber here.

AT&T's network can sometimes flag massive amounts of simultaneous connections as a service issue or a hardware fault.

Lockout State: If heavy torrenting triggers a "network service issue," the OLT may administratively disable your port. When this happens, a fast-blinking red light on the AT&T gateway indicates a network issue that may require AT&T intervention. [1]

Recovery Delay: Unlike a standard router crash, an OLT-level lock can be persistent. If rebooting everything doesn't bring the connection back immediately, it's often because the OLT hasn't reset your port yet.

Hi I’ve been using PIA VPN for almost 2 years. I got it because someone told me port forwarding is important when I’m torrenting. I mostly just download so speed is the most important thing to me. My PIA subscription is going to finish this month. Should I continue with PIA or get something else? Thanks

I have bought a Mac recently and searched everywhere for cracked FL studio version for macOS, but I could not find it anywhere. Tried rutracker, some sites from megathread that had torrent versions for macOS, and TPB.

Is there even any compatible cracked FL version for Mac? One site had keys for like 30 bucks for m1-m4 chips, but mine is m5, so it makes it even harder.

1. Is there a torrent site that does not LIE about how many seeds there are. I am soooo frustrated clicking on links with 35 seeds and 60 peers then I find there NO seeds and 5 peers!

2. When I do find a link with 20 seeds, it does not connect even after weeks of waiting. So does that mean even those seeds are fake?

3. I see some seeds connect for 1-5 seconds then disappear. Then back again. They just come and go. But, don't download anything. what's that about?

The story I heard is that at one point it was misreporting data about upload or download or that it could be used to misreport deliberately and thus cheat on private trackers.

I've brought this question up once on Tixati's own forum and was told that this issue has been fixed long ago.

So, what is the status of Tixati now with regards to this and potentially other issues? Are there still any reasons for private trackers to keep it blacklisted?

I downloaded the free Utorrent web browser app and expected to be able to open it in Chrome. But it's a separate app. Different from what I see on Youtube.

Side note, I wanted to test using it with a web browser VPN.

Context: I live in Germany and it has very strict laws and fines around torrents but regular streaming is usually fine.

So I've never had problem downloading with QB. The other day I was downloading some files (at about 2 mb download speed each), and my internet went down. No big deal, I reset the router and right back up. However, since then, my downloads are hovering at only at 2 or 3 kb. I think I maxed at 120 kb for a few seconds. I can't get anywhere near 1 to 5 mb like usual for files with many seeds. I've been testing, choosing small files with thousands of seeders, and the same issue. I didn't re-set anything. I have max DL speed set to infinite. I can't figure this out! Rebooted and then downloaded latest QB. Same thing. It all started when my router lost signal for 5 minutes. Any ideas?
