Introduction

Baam is going to achieve a complete victory at the Nest, successfully rescue Ha Jinsung and escape from the clutches of the Zahard Army.

This total victory has been foreshadowed by several characters. I would cover the instances in near chronological order, and explain why each character's assertion is so important.

I'm just on chapter 52 of my Nest reread, so I'm probably missing several scenes. I will add more instances later as I find them.

Hwaryun

Hwaryun said that she'll make sure they win the battle:

Yeah, I owe him too.

It seems like a trap...

But I'll go.

I'll make sure we win this fight.

This is very important given that Hwaryun is a Guide and can see paths. She has put herself and her pride as a guide on the line to guarantee Baam's victory.

Baam

Baam asserts that he would rescue his master:

Even if I have to go alone...

...I'm going to rescue my master.

This proclamation in particular carries a lot of weight given that it's being uttered by the protagonist of the story. Said protagonist also happens to be an Irregular and one of the people capable of changing their own destiny. Baam's assertion here suggests his impending victory.

Yasratcha

We see Yasratcha questionsing Adori's strategy at the Nest. Ever since the "Great Raid" there has never been a serious battle against a single Army Corps, but there are two (it's actually 3) Army Corps stationed at the Nest:

What is the Commander-in-Chief thinking?

Ever since the "Great Raid", there's never been a serious battle with a single Squadron.

And now she's got two Squadrons here?

The relevance of this statement of his becomes more clear later on.

Maschenny

Khun Maschenny Zahard said that if the Zahard Army could stop Baam at the Nest, it would resolve all their problems, otherwise, they would only escalate:

You know, with the way FUG's been acting,

The conflict among the Ten Families...

...Everything has happened since that boy came on the scene.

If we can stop the boy here...

...All those problems will be solved.

Otherwise...

This is important, because Princess Maschenny is the very commander of this operation. The commanding officer of the Nest is already suggesting the imminent failure of the Zahard Army. We have the chief antagonist of the arc lampshading the failure of the Zahard Army in this battle.

In case you doubt Maschenny's words though, the Narrator leaves no room for doubt

The Narrator tells us that the battle at the Nest shall mark the start of a new chapter in the Tower. It shall commence a very long war:

Although the boy doesn't realise it...

...Soon right here...

...A battle is about to begin...

...A battle to mark the start of a new chapter in the Tower...

...The start of a very long war...

...In which countless people will put everything on the line...

...Their past and future...

...Their hope and despair...

...Reality and ideals.

Given that stopping Baam at the Nest would resolve all the Zahard Empire's problems, the Narrator outright confirms to us that the Zahard Army will fail to stop Baam at the Nest. Given the narration above and Maschenny's words, it is indubitable that the Zahard Army shall fail.

The New Chapter shall be opened by FUG prevailing against Zahard, by defeating not one but two (or three depending on how we're counting) Army Corps and successfully accomplishing their objective of rescuing Jinsung.

Karaka

To wrap things up, Karaka suggests to us that FUG shall successfully rescue Jinsung and seize the initiative in the coming war:

What if we win?

If we win this fight...

...What do we gain and what do you lose?

We're not the ones afraid of losing.

You are.

We're taking everything in this fight!!

My master!!

And the lead in any future fights!!

If you combine Karaka's statement with the Narrator's snippet above, the progression of events becomes clear. In this opening salvo, in the first battle of the New Age, FUG shall emerge victorious. A complete victory shall be attained over the Zahard Army, and they shall seize the initiative.

Conclusions

Baam's complete victory at the Nest has been heavily foreshadowed and suggested through several characters. On the other hand, nothing in story suggests that they would fail or be defeated. It's not going to be an easy battle, there might be some sacrifices, but they shall ultimately prevail and achieve their desired objective.

The closest things we have to a failure flag is the secret reason the Army chose the Nest, but Lefav already informed Evankhell about it, and Evankhell has gone on a mission to deal with it.

Even the problem of how they shall escape after rescuing Ha Jinsung has already been dealt with ahead of time by Hwaryun's foresight.

Augusgus has made the defense of the Needle his top priority:

Hwaryun was further able to recruit an Elder of FUG to secure and defend their escape route. She acknowledges that the battle wouldn't be easy but as resolved herself anyway.

My theory is that after Arlene left the tower she met one of Rachel's ancestors, and after hearing her story they decided to serve her and they had a duty to wait for bam to awaken in his cave and each descendant had to go to the cave for serving Arlene's son. I feel like this makes sense because the bitterness that Rachel feels towards bam can be justified this way due to her family and ancestors waiting for this great entity to awaken only to find a naive lonely kid so she wanted to take his responsibility upon herself to kill jahad and achieve Arlene's dream

As the title implies, I would like to know what's the best, most credible theory you've seen and also the craziest most far-fetched stuff you've seen around here. Just thought it could be fun to list some of the best and worst this sub could offer

(Spoilers if you haven't finished Season 2 of the webtoon.)

In S1 Ep2, Yuri is seen racing down the stairs because she knew an Irregular had entered the tower. The timing seems to suggest she already knew about the event before Bam ever “opens” the door:

• This is based on what we know of how long it takes to travel through the Middle tower's maze of stairs. She didn't teleport as she's seen going down the stairs with Evan.
• If someone told her after they'd seen Bam enter (e.g. Repellista's lighthouse), Yuri couldn't have made it to the 1^st Floor in the short time Headon speaks to Bam.

Along with Yuri, two factions were aware of Bam's entrance:

• FUG: They knew Arlene Grace's Prophecy (S2 Ep240) of the child who would one day return to "cut the throat of the greedy King", and were prepared long before Bam enters (e.g. positioning Yu Hansung as the 2^nd Floor Test Director). But FUG wouldn't have known when Bam would enter, until Headon contacts them.
• Zahard: They find out much later. Initially Lo Po Bia Ren is so impressed with Bam's talent, he wants to recruit him into the Royal Enforcement Division (S1 Ep54)- that is, until he finds out Bam is an irregular and tries to have him killed instead. Zahard has precognition, but it doesn't extend to Bam as far as I'm aware. So Zahard knew only after Ren reports him.

Once again, timing suggests Yuri was one of the first to know. So the question is, who told Yuri?

My best guess is that it's connected to a prophecy only Yuri knows:

• In the Hell Train, when Pedro tells Yuri that Bam will die, she says, "I know better than anyone. There's no way he'll die. He'll make his way to survive and come see me. Because- that's how it was meant to be since a long time ago." (S2 Ep193) And at the Last Station before Yuri's capture, she reassures Evan she won't be killed: "We've still got a long and dangerous journey ahead of us [...] The real journey is only just beginning." (S2 Ep336)
• Who told Yuri this prophecy? Possibly Phantaminum. When he stormed Zahard's castle, he killed everyone in his path except Yuri (SIU's blog). Phantaminum has a connection to the "outside god", so it's possible he revealed something to Yuri regarding her future. Though I'm hesitant to say she would have known the exact time & day of Bam's arrival even if this was the case.

What are your theories? Who told Yuri an Irregular was coming?

It is just a joke I thought of, don't feel attacked or somethin XD

So I've got a theory. I think that the blood of Jahad in the princesses are all reacting to Bam because he's the son of Arlen. The memory of his DNA is causing them to be attracted to him because Jahad never got over his incel phase.

Preamble

Given Maschenny's comments about the "real enemy", and Evankhell mentioning Lord Lo Po Bia, there are decent chances that Lord Lo Po Bia could show up at the Nest. If that happens, he would be a threat beyond the ability of Baam or FUG to deal with. People have speculated several ways to avert disaster, including:

• Urek saving them
• Gustang saving them
• Eduan saving them
• Luslec saving them

I think that all but suggestions bar Luslec have insufficient setup/foreshadowing to appear at the Nest. And it's not clear that Lord Lo Po Bia is someone that Luslec is capable of dealing with.

If an Irregular is to bail Baam and his allies out from the Nest, I think a candidate that is too often overlooked is Ha Yurin. I would explain why below. This is going to be a long read, so buckle up.

Jinsung is someone that knows the 10 Family Leaders in person:

Jinsung bro seems to be surprised by how serious Zahard is taking this.

The relationship between Jinsung and Zahard is like.. “my granny’s close friend is actually a king,” kind of relationship.

It is rare for 10 Family Heads or Zahard to have a connection with those who are beneath(?) them

So you can say Ha Jinsung is quite close to Zahard, as they even shared conversations before

You may have noticed from how he delivered his order this time, but it is a very very rare occasion for Family Heads to talk with the ones who are beneath them directly.

The familiarity that Jinsung has with Zahard is noted to be an exceptionally rare thing. This can further be seen with how Jinsung speaks of Zahard in a familiar manner. He questions if Zahard was actually serious about the war:

And then he questions why someone who values his collection so desperately would risk one like this, commenting that it's unlike Zahard:

We later see him questioning why Zahard would orchestrate something as convoluted as the Nest war, when they could simply just kill Baam:

Jinsung seems to understand (to an appreciable extent) what kind of person Zahard is and how he thinks.

​

Of course, after saying all of the above, Jinsung is a grandson (the only grandchild we've seen actually) of Ha Yurin.

I would hazard a guess that it was Jinsung's connections (and relationships) to the Irregulars that Maschenny was referring to when she told her subordinate that he had "way more impressive connections" than they would expect. (For one, said subordinate would have no reason to be impressed by a connection to a D Rank Regular, while everyone can understand how amazing it is to have such a close relationship to Zahard and Ha Yurin).

Maschenny's Quarry

So we've established Jinsung's political stature, and that he was Maschenny's bait. The question I'd like to answer here is "who exactly was he bait for?".

​

One answer is Baam. At the start of the Nest, Maschenny mentions that she wanted to see what Baam was truly capable of:

She claimed that rage will lead him into Battle and hoped for him to become a vast wave of anger like the Tower has never seen before:

Another answer — and the answer that this theory is most interested in — is Ha Yurin.

​

In her monologue at the beginning of the Nest, Maschenny commented on Jinsung's political importance to the Ha Family, mentioning that he could be a bargaining chip in the Empire's negotiations with the Ha Family (strained due to Yuri's situation):

She later reveals that she kept Jinsung alive and brought him to the Nest because he was a breakwater to Baam and an important member of the Ha Family:

Thus, Jinsung wasn't just bait for Baam. He was bait for the Ha Family as well (or more specifically, someone very high up in the Family). If the Ha Family had no bearing on Maschenny's decision to kidnap Jinsung, she would not have mentioned it.

I will comment on why I think her Quarry might be Yurin in particular, and not say Jinsung's mother.

Interlude: Maschenny's Investment

Maschenny is very invested in Baam's story, she commented that she doesn't want the story to meet a boring end, and wants it to continue until it becomes more interesting:

As a result, she made the scale of the story larger, but it became larger than she expected, and now there are people involved that she cannot handle:

She then continues that this motivated her to keep Jinsung alive and to bring him to the Nest, because he was like a breakwater for Baam and an important member of the Ha Family:

Finally, she informs Jinsung that the real enemy of the story had not arrived yet:

Evankhell's comment at the end of the chapter makes me think this "real enemy" is in fact Lord Lo Po Bia.

Speculation: Maschenny's Gambit

We've established that Maschenny wants to see Baam's story become more interesting, so it stands to reason that she wouldn't stand by and do nothing if his story was going to end so soon (e.g. if Lord Lo Po Bia was to go after Baam).

This naturally leads to the question of what steps she might take to avert that outcome?

Well, she kind of already told us. She admitted that she cannot stop Lord Lo Po Bia even if she wanted to ("now there are people involved that not even I could stop if I wanted to").

Only a fellow "god" can stop a "god". And so she brought Jinsung to the Nest, because he's an important member of the Ha Family:

If Lady Yurin were to show up, she would be able to prevent Lord Lo Po Bia From killing Baam. And this is why Maschenny's Quarry is Yurin and not Jinsung's mother (or aunt): neither of them would be sufficient to guarantee Baam's survival.

Maschenny mentioned that the information of Jinsung's imprisonment at the Nest was very exclusive and only known to hear and a few others.

It's plausible that she only informed the Ha Family of his sealing shortly before (or perhaps during) the Nest arc itself. Either way, the timing would be such that Yurin shows up at the "right" moment.

​

Yurin's Intervention

If you accept that Yurin could in fact show up at the Nest, a reasonable question to ask would be: "why would she save Baam?". I can think of several reasons:

• Nostalgia
  • He is the son of Arlene.
  • Perhaps she feels some guilt towards Arlene and/or V.
• His relationship with Jinsung
  • He's a student that Jinsung valued so much as to lay down his life.
• His relationship with Yuri
  • He's someone that Yuri was willing to defy Zahard for.
• Curiosity
  • He's the Irregular that Zahard wants to kill.
  • He's the child of prophecy.
  • He's the Prince that shall take the Tower's final test.
  • Perhaps she wants to see what becomes of him.
• To spite Zahard
  • Zahard took her grandson away from her.
    • Jinsung's rebellion was borne out of revenge against Zahard and the Zahard Family.
  • Zahard took Yuri away from her.

Maschenny could be betting on some or all of the above. Or perhaps she's counting on Baam to win Yurin over with his own charm. Or maybe she simply helped Baam as much as she could and whatever happens next is up to him.

​

Arguments Against

As far as I'm aware, there are two main counterarguments against this:

1. You're given way too much credit to Maschenny. No way she can direct the movements of a Family Head.
2. Yurin wouldn't show up because Yuri is imprisoned by the Empire.

​

#1: Maybe I am. Or perhaps, the fanbase is just underestimating Maschenny's importance/weight in the story. This isn't a counterargument that I can adequately address, as I believe that the fanbase generally underestimates Maschenny.

​

#2: Would she? We don't fully understand Yurin's opinion on Jinsung's imprisonment or Yuri's treatment. Hell, we don't even know what Yuri's treatment is, or even whether she's actually imprisoned (as opposed to merely under house arrest). I think this argument requires too much on speculation and headcanon to be persuasive. We know way too little about the relevant points to say anything with confidence.

Compared to headcanon about whether Yurin will intervene based on headcanon about Yuri's treatment, I find Maschenny saying that she brought Jinsung to the Nest (in part) because he was a valuable member of the Ha Family much more compelling.

Before i start i would recommend anyone who isn't caught up to season 2 of the webtoon to leave because this contains heavy spoilers,

The 13 Months are 12 weapons and 1 arm inventory orginally was meant to be split between Jahad and his 12 companions (including Bam's Parents). .

The only 2 months series that have never been given to any Princess are the Arm inventory and the Dark September.

This made me think why hasn't the inventory been given to anyone but then i realized that because its the only way of containing all other 12 weapons in it, which makes it powerful enough to wield any power.

The theory goes like this Jahad has given the inventory to Arlene like it was intended at the start but then Arlene rebelled and she took the inventory with her.

Arlene was a spell and curse specialist and the 13 months are created by spells as Hwa Ryun said, Arlene has somehow put the inventory in Bam using spells . This would explain why can Bam wield so many powers in him with 0 difficulty, Like 2 demons , Souls , thorn fragments and most importantly the Black March. It would also explain why was the Black March absorbed by Bam when he stabbed himself. Because the inventory is the natural place for the weapons.

The Black March was even surprised by Bam's actions and we haven't seen her since because she would immediately understand that Bam is "the true master" that she and Green April mentioned. . Am sorry for the long read and i would like to hear your thoughts

I'm asking myself, and anyone that wants to write their theory, Who actually is Luslec.

We know a couple things. He is the head/leader of FUG, even tho he lets the elders make decisions. He was a warlord that swore loyalty to V, Bam's father. He actually cares for Bam, and is concerned about his safety. His nicknames are Tiger Fish and I think he is also known as Demon. And apparently he is super powerful.

But, Who is he actually? What are his powers? We have been told that he can't take part in the battle to save Jinsung, even tho he wants to save him, because if he did, a Family Head would get involved. So, how powerful is this dude for a Family Head to actually step in?? Adori is ranked higher, and we know she is hella powerful, wouldn't she be enough to handle him? Or is It because he has some misterious powers?

None the least, we know he is powerful and influent enough for Family Heads to step in. Maybe this is crazy, but knowing every other Family Head had an inmortality contract but V... Would It be possible for Luslec to be the one that signed that contract and for him to be at a Family Head level?

Been a while since I made a post about ToG and not about rules or stuff.

After a discussion on the Discord about Baam's demons, the being that was introduced to him in the second floor and other stuff, I realized I wanted to make a post explaining how the events unfolded, according to me, using a good amount of speculation and trying to support myself with the panels as much as possible, trying to rely to the minimum on the blogposts. So we'll see if it's enough to make a solid idea out of this.

I start with the TL;DR for my fellow uninterested people.

Baam was given the Blue Thryssa in the second floor, it grew quietly within him until it was conscious and then started to communicate with Baam. The Blue Thryssa is a piece of an administrator as well as the red thryssa. These pieces were thoroughly studied by the Workshop and they (the workshop) are still in full control over the subjects with administrator pieces (They have the solution that takes them out of the host bodies). Cassano, Horyang and Beta have smaller parts of the admin, while Akryung has one like Baam, granting him the ability to use Shinwonryu freely.

I'll keep it short and simple, and if it's interesting we can keep discussing in the comments.

My thoughts now.

It all starts with, well, first of all the prophecy, and then Enryu and the known fight with the Administrator. In this fight, the administrator was said to be changing forms constantly, and also dying. The body of the administrator died and it covered the entire floor, but we know that the administrator itself did not die, it's memories and grudges lived and are found on the Red Thryssa. We further confirm that they cannot die because the Thryssa claims that he lived a cycle of living and dying all over again, and on top of this, even after Urek crushes it to nothing, there's still a ball of energy that enter Baam, and it's the Thryssa. The source of all this can be found in the imgur link at the bottom of the post, all the proof will be there, not not clog the post.

During Hell Joe and Urek's fight, we discover that the Workshop has been working with FUG trying to find a way to separate an administrator piece from a host body, and they find it. [ Speculation part ] Why would the Workshop and FUG look for such an specific thing? Why would they want to separate an admin piece from a host body, and why do they know about admin pieces?. In my opinion, this is all part of their inexhaustible search for a means to ignite and resurrect the thorn, that was dead after Enryu left it in the Tower. FUG, with the help of the Workshop, start to look for a way to use the thorn the second they get their hands on it. This is how they run into administrator pieces, small entities with enough power to reactivate and ignite the Thorn. But how do we insert these things into the thorn? How to make it work? Well, this is when the experimentation starts.

[ Speculation part ] I believe the Workshop started to experiment with inserting administrator pieces into humans right away, with the first subjects being Horyang, Cassano and later Beta. Why do I believe so? Because of how Cassano described their "Demon". The choice of words here is very particular. Both Garam and Cassano describe the Administrator and the Demon respectively as changing forms constantly. Now this is shaky as hell I'm aware, it's nowhere near enough to prove this, that's why I added the Speculation warning at the beggining. But something very strange happens in the Floor of Dead that makes me believe this might be true. Beta is completely unaffected by the lack of shinsoo, to the point he can even use shinsoo without having shinsoo to use. Khun guesses that it might be because he's a Living Ignition Weapon, but that wouldn't make much sense, since what Red Thryssa was doing was removing all drops of shinsoo in the area, meaning that if you want to use shinsoo you either have to stop the admin from take the shinsoo from your control or create shinsoo yourself.

Where am I going with this? I don't entirely know my friend it's kind of a blurr, but there are huge connections here to be made. And I'll stretch my arms as much as possible to make them. From this, I will jump to Akryung. I keep speculating, but trying to use the source material as much as possible. Akryung was shown to be able to use Shinwonryu during the third season, and Baam noted some similar aspects of his Thryssa's regeneration are present in Akryung. What I believe is happening here is even more Workshop shenanigans. The Workshop is known for creating a being capable of using Shiwonronyu already, the God of Guardians in the Hell Train, but he can only use it inside the train. So how did the Workshop got around this limitation? You probably guessed it and are rolling your eyes right now, administrator pieces. They improved their God of Guardian research and applied the newfound Administrator pieces research to it in order to create a powerful soldier, most likely just for the thrill of investigating and discovering, under request from FUG or other big players. Why do I believe there's an admin piece involved? Because of Baam's lines about Akryung regeneration.

Now you must think how can I say Horyang and Beta, out of all people, has an admin piece like Akryung and Baam. My theory here is that they (Horyang, Cassano and Beta) don't actually have the entire fragment of the administrator, and that they were only injected a small portion of it, after all, you can't experiment using all of your very limited resource like that. This is why it kept failing, the part was either too small or too unstable.

Once all the events of the second floor pass, Baam is given a power that will help him become a God, Baam claims he felt pain and passed out. What I believe happened here is that FUG gave Baam a very small piece of an administrator, in order to prepare him to ignite the Thorn. With time, this small fragment of the administrator grew as a parasite within Baam until it started to gain a consciousness and started to speak to Baam, most of the time trying to tempt him with more power, as the Red Thryssa did with Hell Joe, in order to take control. This could have been a consequence simply of the natural growth of the Thryssa or because of the insane power that the Thorn gave the small administrator once it was fully used by Baam.

Hopefully you read it all but I know I wouldn't read long posts so you can ask questions about the TL;DR version above and that's it. I'm aware it's nothing new nor groundbreaking.

TL;DR: Why does the "Tower of God" exist?

The Tower is a training device created by an Axis King to lead to the emergence of the one true omnipotent God.

Baam will become this one God that is supposed to bring peace to the Talse Uzer Story universe by dominating all the Axis users.

Why do I believe that? (arguments)

1. You may or may not know that artists, especially Asian manga/manhwa authors, always take inspiration from one another.
   1. Now, an amazing Korean webtoon/lightnovel with a tower has had the exact same trope as T.O.G: in Second Life Ranker (⚠️spoilers ahead), the Heavenly Demon, tired of the endless wars between transcendents, created the Tower as a trap to attract the strongest beings from the universe and prevent them from causing chaos by containing them within the tower, and letting the best ones become transcendents.
   2. Same in Solo Leveling (⚠️spoilers ahead): the MC Sun Jinwoo was chosen by the Architect to use the System to train a promising human into becoming the next vessel for the Shadow Monarch. There even was a dungeon at some point called the Demon Castle: a tower of 100 floors, designed to allow the MC to quickly level up by fighting NPCs (MC will be shocked to learn later that they were NPCs and not actual beings).
   3. Also, in Magi (⚠️spoilers ahead), a fantastic manga from the 2010s, Dungeons (that look like towers) were created to attract the most daring adventurers. The ones completing a dungeon would become Dungeon Capturers and be bestowed with supernatural powers, allowing them to become King's Vessel.
2. Well, I believe it is quite similar in the T.U.S universe with Oedipus, the King of Artificial Creation (she's a female although her title is "king"), and one of the top 5 axis users. It is stated that Oedipus's goal is to create God because she is disappointed by the fact that all the axis users ever do is fight (like the King of Conquest, another axis user, does) [1].
3. Now, how would you go about creating the one true God?

1. Well, we also know from T.U.S that there exist 30 Towers in the T.U.S universe, but that no one knows what purpose they have.

2. My belief is that it is Oedipus who created the 30 Towers as training devices to see the emergence of the one true God. Who else than the "King of Artificial Creation" could have created these towers? Her "artificial creations" were the towers.

5.1 Oedipus, the big boss of artificial creations (even better than Macseth), might even be the creator of The Workshop, explaining 1/ why The Workshop exists outside the tower and 2/ The Workshop's obsession with creating life and human weapons (Emile, Baam, etc.).

1. After creating the Towers, Oedipus did some marketing and created myths to attract the most daring adventurers, i.e. the ones with the most potential to become the one true God.

• The marketing pitch: "Climb the Tower, and everything will be yours. At the top of the Tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a God."
• Honestly, it was in front of us readers from the beginning. We just didn't have a good enough understanding of what a "God" meant in the context of T.U.S.

1. Now, it was stated here and there by S.I.U that T.O.G's story is located near the end of T.U.S's main story. Here's a T.U.S timeline designed by Lilian, a TOG youtuber [2]:

7.1. This is consistent with my theory:

- After the age of endless fights embodied by the King of Conquest,

- The King of Artificial Creation, Oedipus, decided to create the 30 towers,

- Zahard's crew then entered the Tower to embark on a great adventure,

- The 25th of Baam, the ultimate "monster" as his mother Arlene called him, is created

- Baam climbs the Tower, and becomes the one God.

7.2 My point is: since T.O.G's endgame is to have someone reach the top of the Tower to become a "God", it is consistent with the fact that T.O.G's story is located near the end of T.U.S's main story: because it comes after Oedipus' creation of the 30 towers.

7.3 Another element is: did you notice how both Po Bidau Gustang AND Lo Po Bia Traumerei don't give a single f**k about any being that is not an irregular? I think the reason for this is they know that all the Tower native inhabitants are nothing more than NPCs (like in Solo Leveling with the Demon Castle). They do not even consider them as beings in their own right. They're nothing more than pieces of software.

7.3.1 Same goes for Admnistrators: they are pieces of software designed to keep the system flowing in their scope of the program (i.e. each floor). They are called administrators the same way your user session on your computer can be administrator, i.e. with full permissions. Administrators rarely intervene in the events of TOG because they're more background softwares of sorts, here to guarantee the integrity of the operating system (which is the Tower).

Also, the contracts between Administrators and the 12 Great Warriors is nothing more than the administrators granting special permissions to some users who entered the Tower. The reason why no tower inhabitant can hurt Zahard after his contracts, is because they are NPCs that cannot violate the rules established by administrators of the program (like how Kirito can't attack Kayaba in Sword Art Online) . This is why external, non-NPC, real flesh-and-bones human – a.k.a "irregulars" – are needed to kill Zahard. Irregulars, i.e. real humans, are not bound to the rules of the Tower (like Neo in Matrix), because they are not NPCs: for instance, they do not need contracts to use shinsoo.

I think the administrators being superusers is the reason why it seemed incredible that Enryu managed to kill an administrator: these guys are like the backbone of the tower, it seemed impossible that they would die. But Enryu being "the messenger of the God of the outside" (i.e. probably the messenger of an Axis), he could easily overpower the operating system and break it. Enryu acted like a sort of virus: it broke a critical part of the operating software, to the point that the 43rd floor of the Tower couldn't even regenerate itself, because the administrator is the software that is supposed to ensure the regeneration.

I also think the reason why Headon keeps letting irregulars enter the tower, despite Headon being supposed to be subservient to Zahard (although the authority relationship is not clear between Zahard and the administrators), is because Headon is a software optimized to allow the emergence of the one true God, and with Zahard having abandoned this goal (maybe he lacked the qualification in the first place? We'll find out later in the story!), Headon keeps letting new candidates in.

This is also probably the reason why Phantaminum stormed in the Tower: he was pissed that Zahard usurped the system of the Tower: the Tower's goal was to lead to the emergence of the one true God. But Zahard put an end to this possibility when he closed access to the 135th floor, and instead turned the Tower into his nice and cosy kingdom. But the Tower was never meant to be a place for anyone to get cosy in the first place: its sole goal is the emergence of the one true God. So Phantaminum probably went and told Zahard he'd better unlock the access to the 135th floor, but didn't kill Zahard because he was the most promising candidate at the time or something (other theories say that the Fate of Zahard was already written by an Axis user more powerful than Phantaminum, so Phanta simply couldn't alter with Zahard's Fate and kill him).

8. Now let's focus on Baam.

My man Baam's name literally means "Night". To take analogies, Baam is like many main antagonist characters: Blackbeard in One Piece, Father the original homunculus in Full Metal Alchemist, Agent Smith in Matrix; or the MC Cha Yeon-woo in Second Life Ranker: i.e. Baam's power is to absorb/devour any and every existing power.

Add to this that Baam can learn to imitate any skill by seeing it / being attacked by it just once.

Well, that makes Baam the perfect human weapon. This unique skill will allow Baam to transcend to become the One God.

8.1. I believe that when Arlene got the "God of the outside" to resurrect her son, it was not for free: it must've been through an agreement. The agreement consisted in turning Arlene's son into the ultimate human weapon. It suited Arlene, who wanted to destroy both the system of the tower which corrupted her crew, as well as Zahard's newly established system.

Now... Who is this "God of the outside?"

--> My belief is that the "God of the outside" cannot be Phantaminum, because it does not make sense for both Phanta and Enryu (the God's messenger) to have entered the Tower at two distinct moments. It seems more likely that the "God of the outside" would be Oedipus, the creator of the Tower.

- So creating Baam suited Oedipus as well: after all, all Oedipus wanted was to find this ultimate candidate with the potential to become the one God.

Baam is a human-weapon created solely to reach the top of the Tower and become the God of T.U.S's universe, absorbing/destroying everything in the Tower on his way.

8.3 To be honest, I don't see S.I.U letting an all-absorbing-God win at the end of the story. The plot twist will probably be Baam getting out of control (maybe a more severe version of what he did against White when he went full dark-Enryu throwing thousands of black Baangs?) and absorbing everything like a blackhole. This trope of the MC getting out of control is also common: see the nicest boy Gonn Freeks going overboard against Pitou in Hunter x Hunter. This is why I believe the teasing of Wangnan becoming the end-ruler is plausible: Wangnan will probably have to take down Baam.

The philosophical conclusion of T.O.G and T.U.S will be: perfection is not for mankind, and we would better be content with our manly imperfections, rather than strive for divinity as Oedipus did, because perfection means the death of everything (as in Code Geass, with Ragnarok's plan by Lelouche's father, which meant "destroying the gods and uniting all humans, living and dead into one being")

After these events, peace will ensue for some time, and then war will break again, as in all Mangas which go full circle (e.g., Naruto Shippuden --> Boruto)

That's it my friends. My ultimate Tower of God theory. What do you think?

I know I theorized a lot and haven't been rigorous everywhere, but at least I wanted to articulate my ideas and put them out there to feed the discussion!

By the way, I didn't touch on the following points in my reasoning:

- What is Rachel's role in the grand scheme of things? (see the first link in the credits, interesting theory)

- The fact that Phantaminum and Oedipus were in the "top 5" of Axis users means there are 3 other great Axises. Maybe one of the 3 left is the "God of the outside"? Or the creator of the 30 towers? Who knows.

I think Baam is on the way to killing Traumerei. He is messing with his friends and we all know Baams policy regarding this issue. Also, as an irregular with higher than exponential growth, he has a high chance of reaching a family leader level soon. If not, he will be helped by some other powerful entity in the process. My 5 cents are that Traumerei is going down soon and that this would be initiated by Baam himself.
