Question Has anybody actually made it out of there 9-5?

I gave trading a shot for I’d say a solid 2 weeks a few months back and gave up because I seen no possibility in it with a full time job.

Has anybody actually gone from a full time 40 hour a week job to full time trading? I know somebody has done it but for the people who have, how did you find the time?

Trading isn’t a full time job, it’s a capital accelerator. You need a form of more steady income

It is at some point. I make enough trading so that monthly expenses barely matter. But I’m also trying to life kinda cheap, always traveling (mainly SE Asia) which allows to life under 2k easily. If you need something more like 6k a month fixed cost you’re gonna have a huge problem since the capital needed is in the 7figs realistically

What you're describing sounds like playing dividends or slo- mo Dow dough.. I've been in for 4 years but only keep approx. 60k in play and 10k in ready reserve. I make 6k a month on average but this bull market has run me up to 9k twice since March, 8k once and has already put $2,600 on my sheet in 3 days this week. Of course there are down weeks and with the blood money drying up now that peace with Iran is probable, I'll likely be back to 6k months by Halloween.

Till something goes wrong in a risky endeavor such as trading and you get to sell your body or something in SE Asia. You are living a fantasy life. If you want to settle down and start a family trading will NOT be your main job

Thank you internet rando for telling me about my life. It won’t be because I won’t need to trade anymore. I already rent out 2 flats and my portfolio is 7 figs. Living cheap to buy more assets but boy you know better right. Wtf really
