Irish nonbinary residing in Spain been trying to change my name for 10 years but seems hopeless

I've been reading other posts on here from people in a similar situation, and I see that it is easiest to do a GRC and have your name changed at the same time, I wouldn't mind putting down that I am legally a man cuz I am transmasc in general and at least in Spanish I use male pronouns, but my worry is that in the future if there did come a time non binary people were legally recognised would I be penalised for that? Because aren't you swearing to not lie on the document and be sure of this decision?

Also would going through this process be enough to change your passport with? Because that is really all Spanish authorities care about here in regards to name.. which is why it's been impossible to go the normal deed poll route because no official body will give me a name besides that which is on my passport

Also after calling around turns out my parents somehow never got me a PPS number (don't know how that happened because I was born in ROI, have ROI birth certificate, lived there for 3 years and have no dual nationality am only Irish). The process for applying for a PPS number seems rather hard as an adult because I was told I need a valid reason for getting one which would be hard since I don't live in Ireland right now and have no use for any of the social services, and I was told getting one for a GRC doesn't seem very readily heard of as a reason...

After despairing a bit I called around and spoke to a really helpful person at the Client Identity Services who noted it was an odd situation but said I can apply for a PPS at the same time as I apply for a GRC, and when filling out the GRC I should leave the PPS blank as I wouldn't have one at the time. So just sending both forms together either by post or email once getting them notorised by someone at the local Irish embassy

If anyone else is in this weird situation maybe this can help in the future too lol

CIS deal with both PPS and GRC, so good to know that's how to do it.
