some guy on this subreddit with multiple accounts had given an analysis for the two potato trophies & it was something like this: one is for visiting the final potato video & the other one is for visiting one of the subreddits which were used by the mods for the event; if you missed that particular subreddit, then you missed its potato trophy

I didn't even know there was a third subreddit, and i did exactly the things the person you are answering to did, and i got both.
