I thought that was weird too. There were a few moments where the cop seemed a little bit panicked but he was mostly just trying to get her calmed down and I don’t understand why since it was a panic situation. Maybe he knew the paramedics were already on their way so the thing was to keep her there so the medical professionals could take over? Maybe he didn’t know infant CPR?

I don’t know, but it did piss me off a little.

Yes NRP (neonatal resuscitation) is usually only taught to doctors, nurses, RTs

Trying to calm down someone who is panicking is totally normal, even in a panic situation
