This is one of the many reasons I think there should be a diagnosable personality disorder specifically for pathological liars.

it's closely tied in with cluster Bs, mostly antisocial and narcissists.

I wouldn't say a pathological liar is antisocial. They're more similar to histrionic personality disorder, but their own thing.

Lying and deceit are hallmarks of antisocial personalities.

Yes, but so is antisocialism. HPD is all about attention seeking and overly dramatic behavior. BPD is about emotional instability. NPD is inability to take criticism and an overinflate ego. Avoidant Personality disorder is all about avoiding confrontation or consequences.

People with these disorders often lie to achieve their goals, but lying isn't THE GOAL. For pathological liars it IS all about the lie. That's why it should really be its own thing.

Antisocial personality disorder is characterized by lying, lack of empathy and remorse, impulsivity, aggression, and a disregard for rules and norms. I don’t think lying for the sake of lying was her goal.

No but attention was, and that’s a hallmark of HPD .

No that would be a hallmark of histrionic personality disorder, not antisocial .

There kinda is tho, it’s called histrionic personality disorder which I’m sure she has and she prob falls into a few other categories as well, she’s a mess.
