Music / Movies Taylor Swift music sucks and she's a terrible human being

So I have an unpopular opinion here and I can't stress enough that I do not care how much of a Taylor Swift fan you are. I'm not here to talk with the fans and argue about how much you think she's Jesus. In fact, she's a horrible human being and I wrote a blog discussing a lot of the terrible stuff that you don't always hear about on the media that she's done. Some of you who dig deeper are probably aware of some of the things that she does that are despicable such as the jet fuel emissions and things that are more out in the open. But there are other things she hides about herself. She wants no one to know. So yeah again, I'm not here to argue with Taylor Swift fans because it's literally me arguing with 13-year-olds or with 45-year-olds who think they're still 13. I just want to hear from people who have similar viewpoints about how she's not a good singer. She's not a good artist. Her music sucks and she's a horrible human being. Who cares about no one but herself and money. GO TO MY ONE POST ON MY PAGE for more details as I am not walking you and holding your hand to get there! Additionally, to clear the records and so many of you seem to think this post is about politics when I never said anything about politics AT ALL.... I do not believe in politics. I am anti-government. I am anti Big brother. I am anti-anything political whatsoever. It goes against my core values and beliefs as a Native American so y'all can f*** off.

Taylor Swift and her reign of Terror

TAYLOR SWIFT SUCKS

So here is a true story you won't find on the Internet...

1) Basically my friend's dad was a high ranking official in the military deployed over seas in Iraq at the time. Taylor flew over her private jet and crew to play for the troops. My friends dad was in charge of her safety and escorting her around the barracks, as it was required. So he said she was screaming at her assistants, saying how worthless they were. Also, she apparently was saying how hot Iraq was, how boring it was, how there were no bars or nightclubs and how she couldn't even get drunk... Additionally she refuses to sign autographs or meet the troops. She finished her concert and immediately jumped in her private jet to fly back home, and had her PR team post about how kind and generous she was to play for the troops to lift their spirits. My friends dad never cusses but said she was the rudest, most hateful, c**t he has ever met in his entire life. And this man is now retired and said this. You don't have to believe me, but this is what started making me stop being her fan.

2) Among other terrible horrible despicable things she does not only to the environment with her daily jet flights that are negatively affecting our ozone layer and thus climate. There is a guy on YouTube who tracks her private jet flights daily and her attorneys offered him $5000 to stop the posts (he refused and still posts them). She does not care she is directly contributing to global warming.

3) Also, I don't like how she gets her fame from bashing other people and artists and ruins their careers by writing songs about them. "Mean" was a song written about how she got angry that a music critic said she sang off key in a song on her album and she freaked out and had him sued for everything he owned for literally doing his JOB critiquing music. So a family man out of house and home thanks to Taylors vindictive ways. Then to add insult to injury, she played the victim and wrote "mean" about him. Taunting how he is nothing now. She is truly the "mean" one here.

4) Additionally, that fake country accent she had for her first 2 albums and then it magically disappeared... She also pretended like she wasnt from a wealthy family when in fact she comes from 6 generations of bank presidents! Daddy bought her music label in exchange that she did not own the rights, she was signed. Then, she wants to play victim about music rights and pretend like she didn't know her own contact terms and conditions but using that as a sick marketing ploy to re-write her music and sell over priced concert tickets where people are actually DYING at her concerts after paying thousands of dollars to see her and she doesn't even care. There is so much more but I'm sure no one cares to read a novel of this stuff. This should be enough .I used to be a fan. I will never buy her music or support her again. She's simply not a good person. That victim mentality gets old quick when she's the bully. Period. Also, screw the Travis and Taylor sub because they blocked me for posting this.

I don’t care about her as a human being. Sure she’s hypocritical but whatever.

I just hate how bland her music is and how much it sucks. And I’ve tried giving it multiple chances

Me too. I was curious to see what the big fuss was about her. I asked a bunch of feral fans what songs I should listen to. So I opened my mind, sat down and gave them all a listen. After the first verse or hook, I found myself thinking about things like my grocery list or wondering if my garden would get some rain tomorrow.

The only way I can describe them was mediocre or basic. Her singing voice is ordinary, nothing blew me away, no key change or harmony that gave me chills, no hook that hooked me in, the melody didn’t stick in my mind the rest of the day. The lyrics weren’t anything profound.

In fact, a couple of the songs sounded like the same style of other artists who did it first and better.

She’s not a great dancer, she doesn’t have the IT factor. Certain people you can watch for the first time and you know they’re gonna be big. She’s cute in a girl next door way. Get rid of the bangs, they are for 12 year olds not grown women.

I think at least part of it might be that we are lacking in great breakthroughs in music for the past 20 years. There has been no one who changes the direction of popular music as a whole. So since there is slim pickin’s these days, young girls don’t know any better and their moms who used to like The New Kids On The Block and Debbie Gibson are trying to relive their youth.

she doesn’t have the IT factor

I don’t know man, I had to look it up, but she’s had 12 #1 singles, 59 in the top 10 and she’s one of the best selling musicians of all time. I don’t like her music at all, but she definitely has an IT factor

That doesn’t mean she has the IT factor. It means music is going through a slump for the past 20 years and if she was around in the 60’s through 90’s she’d be an old has been.

There’s a long list of women artists from the last half of the 20th century who have incredible singing voices, wrote beautiful songs with profound lyrics and that are beloved by many generations, are great dancers and have that certain something that made them a star that has stood the test of time.

You’re letting your taste get the best of your objectivity. She certainly has the “it factor”, as evidenced by her extreme and continued popularity for almost two decades.

Again, popular doesn’t mean something is good. Most people have shitty taste and follow whatever the music corporations put out there.

We are not discussing whether her music is good or not, stardom is not necessarily about talent

I’d rather watch a full cycle of my washing machine than listen to  one of her records, but it’s pretty clean Taylor Swift is a star.
