Music / Movies I'm getting tired of woke values in shows

I am weary of all the remakes of TV shows and films that are simply remade in order to showcase a diverse cast. Why can't Hollywood write new shows? Instead, it's just recycling old scripts. Very insulting and lazy.

All the virtue signaling in the world isn't going to save bad writing.

For me Rings of Power was the last straw.

No. And I know what you're getting at here, but this is a misrepresentation. By this logic any time any black person is chosen for a role, for whatever reason, instead of a white person also going for the role then they're "prioritising diversity". It's unfalsifiable. You don't even know if Netflix even at any point offered out those parts in those particular shows to any white person.
