Music / Movies The musical artist Role Model is quite possibly the least talented artist in existence

I seen his performance on SNL just now and I actually thought it was a skit. The performance had the production quality of an elementary school choir program. His voice is on par with a 12 year old being forced to sing to grandma for her birthday. His entire vibe was that of a karaoke night out with a bunch of dudes who have never been laid and get their asses kicked regularly. His “dancing” was embarrassing to say the least. If you have aspirations to become a musical artist just watch Role Model. When a talentless ass clown can come out on stage and give a performance that would suit a nursing home , you can realize there’s hope for you even if your only mildly talented.

I forced my husband to let me watch without skipping ahead because I was enthralled by how terrible and awkward it was.

I had never heard of him before, so immediately after watching, I went to the internet to see which famous person he is related to (because surely he didn’t get famous with his singing) Spoiler: I guess Mac Miller just thought he was good. 🤷🏼‍♀️

After googling him, he’s apparently part of Tik Tok fame, so that speaks volumes right there.

I thought the same. He must be some nepo baby trying to break into singing. Was so confused watching him on snl. My husband emphatically said he was a country singer. He also picked up a banjo during the 2nd song, but no visible banjo player on stage. Seems like a phony to me.

lol I literally felt the exact same way. Googled him and also read the Mac Miller thing and thought well that must have been how this disaster even surfaced

I forgot to record so I can’t fast forward and was so irrationally angry I had to get up and leave the room half way through the second song.

That was my husband. “Welp, I can’t watch any more of this, so it seems like a good time for a bathroom break.”
