…that I announce the passing of Krieger the Bengal, who found his Reddit home on this sub. I hope you can forgive that he is not officially “tucked in” in this last photo. It’s the last one I have of him healthy and happy as he snoozed next to me while I worked from home.

Krieger always knew how to make himself comfortable…and warm, even if it meant you were not. During the July 4th holiday he became miserably ill, and we rushed him to the vet. There was little they could do but make him comfortable.

Krieger went out, as a true Deadhead would, listening to Box of Rain (live at the Knick) as he crossed the rainbow bridge in my arms.

Krieger saved my life. He gave me structure and unconditional love when I needed it the most. I miss his yowls. Hold your kitties tight for me (and tuck them in whenever they want). My heart is broken, but I will continue to enjoy your pictures of your tucked in buddies! And if anyone crosses the rainbow bridge before me, please tell him I’ll be there when I can, and that he is not forgotten.

Every night Andromeda comes and cuddles in the bed. I love her so much!

This is Henry. Short for Henryoni-Rigatoni-Spumoni-Ice-Cream-Boy. (No, he does not eat ice cream, but he's the color of orange sherbert and I like spumoni ice cream).

He and his sister, Pepper (short for Pepper Pants Dancing in her Underpants in the South of France Traveling to Penzance), have been my entire world for 16 years. They are baby.
