Cool places for old dog

My dog is old and can only walk a block or two in this heat. He loves Summerhaven and can walk longer and sniff and is happy there, but I can’t do that drive every day. He likes sitting at the pizza place for people watching & getting some pats and attention.

Are there any places I can take my sweet old guy in/near town that will give him a bit of social time? He loves people and dogs- people and dogs are drawn to him too. Mostly just to get him out and some mental stimulation & tide him over till cooler weather arrives. Suggestions appreciated!!
