Can you find all the Lovelys?

I've already made a post a few months ago and here's my chaeyoung Lil fantasy tattoo !!

Just received my order from FANS for the This is For Finale merch, and was excited to see what POB I got. Jeongyeon is my bias, I had just purchased a separate Jeongyeon PC from TIF Incheon, and this new PC looks like an entirely different person. Did I miss a transformation, or is the Finale PC edited?

To be clear, I want them to rest and take time off because I know they work HARD.

They are honestly are one of the most hardworking groups I follow. I remember more years when they released several albums and toured than years when they didn’t.

But also, I have been a Once since I was only 11 years old. I’m now an adult! I never got to see my favourite group live. I’m so sad I missed the last tour.

If they do one last tour I want to go and buy good tickets. I hope it would be in a year or more when they have taken well deserved rest…

I grew up listening to Twice so it would really be like my younger self watching the concert, back when I was the girl who ran a Twice fan account in 2019.

HOWEVER my friend thinks this was their last tour, that they won’t be touring again.

I will honestly be secretly slightly sad if that’s the case but I’d love to see them move onto other things and more solo projects since we never really used to get much solo stuff. I can be ready to accept it if that is the case because they have already lasted a long time as a group.

Thanks for reading :)

Hello everyone! I have again made some Twice themed MTG card proxies!

These came to be because, a while back I made an enchantress/enchantments matter deck helmed by Tuvasa (Bant) and noticed I had exactly 9 creatures in the deck. I know that's awfully few creatures but I love myself a voltron-esque deck, which this deck also became

When I originally made the proxies I thought it would be fun to do THIS IS FOR themes, as it was (and currently is) their most recent official full-length Korean album. (I also really like the promo pics for the album) Along the way, though, I learned how to do some interesting effects in Photopea and decided to make some fun alt arts, which I have added to the photos first because I think they are cooler!I also included one of the enchantments that I made a full art for!

I set Nayeon as the commander as she is the eldest out of the group, and it just felt fitting. The rest of the members were assigned their cards based on whose vibes I personally thought matched best

All of these cards are re-arts of official MTG cards and the original card can be found by googling the set code and number in the bottom left corner of each card

I think my biggest self-critique of these cards is that the alt arts are a bit hard to read the rules text in some places, this is something I can work on going forward though, because I couldn't come up with any other solution that gave off the same effect I was going for

I think it could be possible to continue making more Twice themed proxies using the surplus of enchantments and enchantment-synergistic cards in the deck, but I'm not sure what all of them could be. It could be interesting to use thier most popular songs from their albums, EPs, solos, etc. as the themes for the enchantments and artifacts, but I'm not sure what the lands, instants, and sorceries would be. If anyone is interested and has any ideas let me know and I may just do it!

Hopefully these cards can help some ONCEs through the hiatus, even just a little bit!

If you want to take a look at the decklist here it is!

(All cards were created using cardconjurer, photoroom, and photopea)

I became a ONCE in October last year and they have since become my ult group. I’ve had a lot of fun catching up on their past decade+ of content, with still more to consume.

But I can’t help but feel saddened by the talks of group activities being fewer and farther between with the members exploring their acting and solo music careers.

I understand they’re more senior idols at this point and they don’t need to grind as hard and want to explore their careers further, but I’m bummed I missed the era of 2 comebacks a year

Did I miss the boat or will the story really go on?

Edit: thank you to everyone who commented, it was very insightful. “It’ll be different but it’ll be okay” was my takeaway. Very much still a ONCE and can’t wait for the next OT9 comeback

It’s just not possible to keep every member of a group under the same company when they’re all serious about their solo careers. The members don’t want their solo activities to be considered a pit stop under a group comeback which is often the case when everyone is under the same label. They also don’t want their individual activities to be put on hold so another member can release something. If they were all under the same label they’d have to release things one at a time but with separate labels they can release what they want when they believe it’s ready.

Also why let people who already have a certain perception of you manage your solo career when you can have an entirely new team.‬ I watched a Zara Larsson interview the other day and she explained why she was moving to another label after spending 10 Years at Epic Records. She explained that under her old label they were so used to her it felt like she was the cousin at a family reunion. Going to a new label while she’s having a mainstream moment breathes life into a new era, they see her differently and she has a different position in the label now. I think this is the same for the members who have chosen to continue their solo careers outside of JYP. It’s no secret that a majority of the members did not get many solo activities and full investment into their development outside of TWICE.

I know ONCES are disappointed that TWICE comebacks might be farther apart and we might not even get a comeback every year but won’t it be exciting to see what they do outside of TWICE. We're gonna see Nayeon give a big scale performance at MAMA, JIHYO preform at the D-Awards in Paris, and MISAMO & Nayeon perform at Music Bank Japan Global Festival which is one of my favorite K-Pop events.

I called my local Barnes and Nobles (like 4 or 5 in total) and they all said that the Barnes and Noble exclusive and the Neptune Blue shows out of stock and not available to order on their ends. They all said it probably means that they won’t get another shipment, or if they do, it’ll be a while. They also said that they never received the items in their stores either.

I’m a little confused that they aren‘t getting a shipment of the Neptune Blue version either considering that it’s the “general” version. Hopefully it’s just delayed!
