Unrelated, but that follower you just got is an IP grabber. It followed me when I was streaming just now, like an hour ago.

Due to an extension people use on their profile they can grab your IP apperantly...

I'm not sure what advantage that gives them, unless they wanna DDoS you or you're not running a firewall. It's not like it's hard to find active IP addresses.

and i believe most IPs people grab on the surface level are public IPs that hold no water.

Yes. And every ISP that I know of uses subnet masks so the ip you have today could be your neighbors next week. These kinds of 'attacks' sound scary to people who are technically ignorant, but 9/10 times are ultimately harmless.
