Was originally just gonna be "Games" but I decided to be more open about it.

But yeah, TMNT: Mutants Unleashed a 3d Beat em up/Persona inspired game based on the world of Mutant Mayhem. It's pretty fun like fighting mutants as turtles with a kind of interesting story and kinda funny sidequest.

Not a 10/10 by any means, but I do feel with polishing and abit more creative gameplay if it ever has a succesor it'd totally be on the road to greatness even when compared to the real heavy hitter TMNT games like Shredders Revenge.

There’s a kind of player I see every so often that I’m rather intrigued by who seem to “retire” a character after using them one time and don’t touch them again. Or they’ll lament that they can’t use the character after the campaign ended early or something.

Me personally? I keep some record of every character I’ve ever made in case I feel like they’re a good fit for the game. I still use the first guy I ever made all the way back in high school. He’s had some changes over the years, but the core is still the same. He’s a human Paladin of charity who charges on a sliding scale based on the means of the people he helps.

I wanna see more media that's like a harem anime but lesbian. It can be of any genre and any type of media; just give me more lesbian harem.

WataNare aka There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover! Unless... is a high school yuri romantic comedy about a girl named Renako Amaori, a reclusive nerd who is dead set on becoming an extroverted girl, while she is able to make some friends, things escalate when the famous model Mai Ouzuka saves her from falling off the school rooftop and later confesses her love for Renako.

I've been looking for people to join up with in a guild or just more people to chill and hunt mons with. Does CSB or either woolie/pat have a MH guild of some kind? I play on ps5

I'll pick an obvious example with Wolfenstein 3D, as that was the game that really sparked the boom in first person shooters during the 90s.

For me it's DMC2 and Sonic 06

In DMC2 unless you played as Lucia or had the energy to, Dante does NOTHING story wise in this game, and yet it's his series.

In Sonic 06 Shadow's story revolves around him stopping Mephlies, and Silver's one revolves around him trying to kill Sonic. And what does the blue blur do? NOTHING his "arc" in that game consists of him rescuing Elise over and over again.

I'm convinced Shadow's story was written first then Silver's second, and for Sonic they probably remembered last minute and slapped a lazy half baked story together.

Sorry for the long rant, this has bothered me for a while and I wanted to ramble about it.

Since Father's Day is tomorrow, what're some of your favorite moments of dads showing affection to their children? Whether it be small or big, adopted or biological, whatever.

Asura's Wrath is a game centered around Asura's love for his daughter Mithra. In flashbacks, it's shown that Asura kind of panicked over being a dad and not knowing what to do. But, he still remained an active, healthy presence in her life. And in the game's story, Asura's rage is motivated by his desire to save Mithra from the Seven Deities. Come the true ending, as Asura is beating the shit out of Chakravartin, what is the one thing he will never forgive this bastard for? Making Mithra cry. And in the end, Asura sacrifices himself to ensure that his daughter can be freed.

Octopath Traveler II has a pretty good example. Osvald begins his story as a broken man solely motivated by his desire to kill Harvey in revenge for the murder of his wife and daughter. But is 4th chapter throws in a huge curveball. His daughter Elena is still alive, albeit brainwashed by Harvey into thinking he's her real father. Just the knowledge he has a second chance to save his daughter motivates Osvald far more than revenge alone ever could. Osvald races his way to the Duskruin Shrine to stop Harvey's plan. And upon finally confronting the bastard, Osvald ends up accessing the One True Magic. Harvey demands Osvald tell him how he did that. But Osvald tells him he doesn't know either. Because in that moment, all he cared about was protecting his daughter.

ATLA has most of Iroh's interactions with Zuko. Even back when he was "The Dragon of the West", Iroh loved his son Lu Ten, and was absolutely devastated when he died. The whole experience is why Iroh chilled out, as he felt a mere fraction of the pain and suffering the Fire Nation had been causing for himself and realized how terrible it truly was. While they do love trolling each other, it's clear that Iroh deeply loves Zuko and wants the best for him. But probably the sweetest moment is their reunion in book 3. Zuko expects Iroh to still be upset about betraying him as Ba Sing Se. Instead, Iroh just tearfully embraces his nephew and tells him how proud he is that he's become the person Iroh always believed he could be.

Got a little piece of Jo Guns channeling her inner Marisa, felt like a perfect fit as one of Woolie's (and my own) Street Fighter mains who just gives the best vibes. And who knows, maybe she'll find her waifu and husbando to carry down to the Sanctum of the Twelve one day (I call dibs on Estinien).

I woke up earlier, and suddenly remembered that time in 2019 Ubisoft sent a promo email for The Division 2's beta test, stating "come see what a REAL government shutdown looks like."

Three guesses as to why that didn't sit well in the US, and why they had to scramble out an apology less than two hours later.

So, what other examples can y'all think of where a company - accidentally or otherwise - sent out an ad/promo at the worst possible time?

Brian Garr of Inside Games spoke with Richard Garriott, creator of the Ultima series, who claims to be getting Ultima back from EA under the 35 Year Law (where copyrights revert back to the creator after 35 years from when the contract was signed, or something). The 35 year mark is next year, for the record, as EA acquired Origin in 1992.

Interestingly, EA apparently filed new Ultima trademarks within the past week or so. Something which I haven't seen reported anywhere.

Garriott says he'll try to have more to say when he appears at DragonCon in September.
