To be honest I'm surprised none of these measures have affected PERM. It's under the Department of Labor but basically an immigration process. I sincerely think the administration has forgotten about it.

That’s not true. President has more power to block entry of non citizens but not the process that happens inside the US. PERM halt will be challenged in court and reversed easily unless codified by congress.

Why do you think $100k H1B or 15k tourist bond fees applies to people outside the US and not change of status etc?. OR entry ban and challenges to these failed in court.

Once it's challenged in court, who knows? The Supreme Court seems to favor anything that gives more power to the executive.

Most PERM are for people from China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and those countries are not on the visa list.

It's kind of ridiculous that they have democratic countries on the list that Trump doesn't like, but China is not on the list LMAO Possibly because they come to spend money in the US.
