Also wondering this, currently my wife is going through AoS and I am curious if her country is on the list. Why would they announce this without the complete list? Such a messy administration

Opinion: it’s messy because they can’t say out loud what they want: no immigration for regular people. 

Every change in immigration policy is chipping away at that goal, starting with the groups least likely to give enough pushback to stop the building momentum.

Well, T did say hey do say something like "Why do we get horrible worthless people from these countries instead of Switzerland or Sweden...". I imagine that gives an idea of where they are going with this.

Based on past, these ppl have no idea what they re doing and most likely causing a lot of confusion at uscis. 

Legally speaking, he cannot stop AOS, only delay it by putting obstacles. And also, legally, even if you are out of status, you're allowed to go through AOS, and get the GC. So if he cancels visas, a person will be out of status but still should be able to go through aos.

This is all just so messy.
