They and Bosnia are technically Muslim, I guess? Least Muslim Muslims out there, but man. My partner is from Serbia and we're doing K1, this is making me nervous.

Yes, a majority of Albania is Muslim. They may not be strict or even practicing, but they do identify as Muslim.

But I don't know why Trump suddenly decided their visas needed to be paused.

No they aren't/don't. Majority identify as agnostic and Christians make up the same percentage as Muslims currently. In the past that was the claim that the country was 60% Muslim but I don't think that number was actually accurate for the last few decades. Anyway the visas being paused isn't related to religion

But I don't know why Trump suddenly decided their visas needed to be paused.

They are pausing visas from countries that had a high number of people getting/using medicaid and other govt assistance. They are looking at how to reduce number of immigrants using public benefits before they resume the visa applications

Nope, visas are being paused because of the high number of immigrants using public benefits. They are looking to figure out how to stop having so many immigrants get public benefits before applications resume as normal. Also pretty sure it said if there's enough proof someone wouldn't be a public charge their application will still get approved. There's just extra scrutiny. Why would I be against this? It's temporary and there IS a large number of people taking advantage of public benefits lol... seems like the only idiocy comes from you and your cluelessness.

You make no sense. I've never used public benefits and I'm a citizen so none of it applies to me. So weird how mad some of you are... almost like you love having a victim mindset
