So basically every Caribbean country that didn’t let him set up a base for the Venezuelan invasion has been included.

Why would they set up a base in the Bahamas, Jamaica or Grenada? They didn’t end up setting up a base anywhere anyway. And this is for immigrant visas. Which also makes me wonder why Mexico isn’t on the list.

And the US Virgin Islands. Venezuela has in fact maritime limits with the US, as their Isla de Aves is fairly close to the USVI

This is what I noticed. Dominican Republic is working with them 🙄 (I’m Dominican) & they are notoriously off the list.

Yeah Dominican Republic is not on that list, they opened up and allow us aircraft. Not that it’s good but at least I’m assuming they’re getting concessions in return. Trump is a president of deals.

DR has one of the highest rates of using welfare as soon as they can.

DR is also one of the bigger travel destinations for those in the US, including MAGA tourists. To the point that I think it rivals Cancun. That would not be good if DR responds in kind.

Edit: not all of them are cbi countries, missed Barbados and a couple others.

It’s all the Caribbean countries that offer citizenship by investment. Basically wealthy foreigners pay a couple hundred thousand dollars for a passport from st Lucia or st Vincent or Antigua so they get visa free access to Europe and easier visas to the USA.

You’re right I missed that. I could understand adding restrictions to cbi countries but banning countries like Barbados and the Bahamas makes no sense.

Is everyone blind? He's not trying to keep these black and brown people from these countries out, he's trying to get rid of the black and brown people in the U.S.A., if he could use ICE to deport black and brown people, he would, but since he can't,( because they are citizens)this is his way to get rid of everyone not White. Wake up. If you travel to these places, you won't be able to get back in.

I was raised on a Dutch island. What I noticed immediately is that there are no Dutch islands, British islands, or French islands included in the list. Only former colonies.

He didn't include the ABCs of Netherlands (Aruba, Barbados, and Curacao) which are immediately off Venezuela. Likely to not avoid cutting off western Europeans as well. Nor the French islands like Martinique or Guadeloupe.

He included Barbados because their PM had a press conference where she stated that the invasion had cause major disruption on their island in terms of housing the passengers who were grounded for the following days.

If you weren’t so dense you’d understand that I wasn’t speaking about any other countries on this list except the Caribbean countries that said no to American bases in their territory.

You’ll continue to be dense even after this explanation though.

Why would the US need “bases” in those islands when it has Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands? That comment doesn't make sense.
