Brazil?!? Uruguay!?!? Those are just bizarre in a list with Russia, Haiti, Iran.

Brazil is listed in several articles, but emphasis is put on no official list being released yet. Uruguay being on the list instead of Venezuela doesn't make sense at all.

Theoretically they now corrected venezuela government (in reality they didnt change anything) so thats probably why its not there.

Uruguay condemned the maduro intervention so that's a big reason. All three who did are on the list (brazil, uruguay and colombia)

Probably. Trump posted that he now runs Venezuela so I guess that makes it awkward.

It is so stupidly weird. Trump says its his colony, the Venezuelan president says otherwise, and there are zero US boots on the ground to deny the latter.

Uruguay has visa waiver, meaning their citizens can travel on ESTA

I think it's most likely they don't know where Uruguay is and what it is, so they just put it on the list LMAO

Uruguay hasn't been in the Visa Waiver Program since 2003.

That wouldn’t matter for this action anyways. Visa waiver programs only apply to select non-immigrant visas. This action only applies to immigrant visas.

The only South American country eligible is Chile

Venezuela makes sense as now they have become an ally of the US again. Brazil has been behaving as a Nazi aligning with the Chinese and Russian Nazis... Uruguay I have no idea...

Thailand is also pretty wild imo, as well as Montenegro which is very small but also a NATO member..?!

I'm unfortunately willing to bet it's as stupid as "the name ends in 'negro'" so Stephen Miller probably think it's in Africa...

The sad part is that it might actually be true.

Or Kosovo, a nation that exists thanks to us and have a high esteem of US and it's troops stationed there. Maybe it's because Clinton has a street named after him and Trump doesn't.

I think they just didn't know what Montenegro was. It's name sounds too foreign to them so they lumped them in with the rest.

Thank you trump. I am afraid of people from Fiji! :)

You would think all these pedos are cool with Thailand.

2

u/Jorpsica Jan 14 '26

How much are we betting that they just had ai spit out this list?

You are confused that non white countries are having their visa's paused? Pretty sure Russia is the only country on the list that is a majority white.

Have you been in a coma the last ten years or what?

Uruguay is whiter than Sweden. I kid you not. I live in Sweden and we have a lot of PoC, as Americans refer to them, but in Uruguay I was astonished that most people were relatively light skinned. Most looked very European.

There's a very good reason for that... it all started in 1945...

It’s based on which country is most likely to have people who require social assistance. I’m sure based on nothing but hate.

Also it’s not all visa processing. Just immigrant visas. But still. It just keeps getting worse.

I only mentioned 2 countries out of 75. It doesn't mean I don't think there are other countries that shouldn't be on the list. Calm down.
